Ohio St 5-11-1 vs SEC all time ( actually 6-10-1 bc we beat Arkansas arse but they dont " count" it since some players bought some tatoos .

Over the last 5 years I think Alabama and Clemson are the only true elite teams

2020 - Bad
2019 - GOAT
2018 - Good
2017 - Above Average
2016 - Average

Just one man’s opinion

Are you saying LSU isn’t an elite program?
I would say they are.

More nattys then anyone since 2000 besides Bama.

Also LSU constantly runs into Bama every year. Bama has atleast stoped LSU from 2 Championships and maybe playoff appearances.
Shows how good bama has been.

That’s why bama is tier 1. It’s pretty impressive how much success Bama has had but it hasn’t stopped LSU from all their success it’s just stoped them from More. The SEC is the toughest conference of all. If LSU were in any other conference they would be top dog.
Just my take.

Someone do the average final top ten from the BCS era until now and that’s how I would define elite.

Alabama - ELITE
Clemson - ELITE

Ohio St. - GREAT

Oklahoma - BETTER THAN MOST
Notre Dame - BETTER THAN MOST

Georgia - Doesn't really belong in this conversation

LSU - Larry Coker didn't make Miami elite again and Coach O hasn't made LSU elite. One fluke year because of QB & an OC meshing well together does not equal a program.

LSU isn’t elite. You need to learn to accept this reality.

I said the last 5 years. We’re definitely elite since 2000.
