Frankly I dont really care. Bama going simply maintains the current order. Frankly it prevents Bama from moving on from Milroe so its probably a net win. Im just pointing out the hypocrisy of Bama fans.

Milroe already graduated and is gone. You'll need a different moral victory.

And the argument was best loss.

Which is 100% unnecessary when you have a head to head. I don't remember Bama playing Oklahoma State that year

USCe has the best losses

That's an unnecessary metric between two teams from the same conference with the same record who already played each other.

So head to head matters....until it doesnt then its whatever the next argument is that supports bama being ranked higher

Head to head matters when two teams are nearly equal in every metric, yes.

Head to head doesn't matter to the same degree when teams are equal in some metrics and the other team is clearly ahead and 2-3 of the others.

Alabama was ahead of South Carolina in every computer metric on the planet. Also, they beat them head to head. You should look into IBM Watson's code for Harvey Updykes fingerprints.

You didn't boatrace Clemson or Missouri. You are going to waltz into Neyland and boatrace Tennessee? What the hell are you talking about?

and they were still ranked ahead of an SEC team that beat 4 top 25 teams in the last 6 weeks.

You beat 3 ranked teams the last 6 weeks (at the time the games were played). One of them is no longer ranked. If you say late season losses should count more, why do you want to count 8-4 A&M as a ranked win for USC? South Carolina has 2 ranked wins: #19 Missouri and #17 A&M. Alabama has 3: #19 Missouri, #14 USC and #5 UGA. Alabama also beat USC H2H. Alabama has 2 bad losses. USC has one, a home blowout loss.

You are the exact same team as us with a worse defense and QB. Also why are we playing at Neyland? You think you are coming to Columbia and not walking out with a beat down? Remember the last time you were there?

I like the confidence.

I personally believe it'd be an absolute war and would come down to the end.

Magically that alternative criteria starts to appear when its needed to justify Bama

Are we not comparing the games? We played at Neyland.

Well, you lost to LSU and Ole Miss at home and barely escaped Missouri. I dunno, I think it's possible we escape a beatdown.

We beat the shite out of you 47-23?

Pick a metric and let us know. Any of them.

It's amazing how teams drop in the polls after you beat them. Also that's not how that works. The top 25 win doesn't get erased because you beat them lol

How you played in the last month? You know kind of like college basketball selection committee works.

I'd wager that 99.9% of losses by ranked teams in the last 10 years have dropped in the polls the next week. That's kind of how it works.

Yes, if the team ends up actually not being very good, it gets erased.

Georgia Tech doesn't get to claim a Top 7 win because they beat 2-10 Florida State in week 1.

Just to be clear, the H2H argument isn't really in play as far as the CFP rankings go because the 2 teams aren't next to each other.

It's just a high quality win for Alabama. Alabama has Georgia and USC while USC has Clemson. That's 2 wins of higher quality

If there is a H2H argument, it was between Ole Miss and USC, and USC lost

The only reason people are talking about H2H is because you are butthurt and looking for any team you can find to compare them to Alabama.

We beat Missouri by 34 points in Tuscaloosa.

We beat LSU by 30 points in Baton Rouge.

We beat a FBS team by 50.

We had a horrid loss to Oklahoma.

We beat Auburn by 14 points, the 2nd worst loss they've had this season.

So, we've played 4 very good to great games with 1 absolute stinker dropped in.

The college basketball committee explicitly does NOT work like this. They do not look at last 10 games.

Didn't lose to LSU even without our QB. Ole Miss was our one bad game with Sellers and Sanders barely a go. Watch the Ole Miss game and tell me that is a healthy qb or rb
