"why is it LSU"?

Because our QB play was past the point of embarrassment last year and still went 8-5. Outside of maybe Bama (because of running game and defense, same as us), I don't think any team in the west could have won more than 6 games last year with our QB.
Hell, Kenny "trill" probably could have gotten us to the SECCG last year. No hate to aTm on the Kenny Trill reference, jmho.

We're under-rated because that's what we showed everyone last year. All the talent in the world and haven't quite seemed to put last piece of the puzzle together. Until we do we'll continue to be under-rated.

Way to early to say for us. Unless we fix our hot-garbage situation, we're overrated unless a turnover machine D like 2011 shows up again

aTm.. Probably will go undefeated and win the Championship with their unstoppable offense and their soon-to-be #1 Defense.

Because I have faith that Harris will be the QB and we will utilize our skill players with more Pistol formations and jet sweeps to Dural and Donte Jackson. Try some slip screens like we did with Reed also.

Also, DBU is stacked this year, and I expect way more blitzing to amp up the pressure.

We're bringing back the most starters since 2011

We're above average or elite at every position but QB. I think once Harris solidifies himself as the starter we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Dude has a cannon of the arm and better wrist velocity than anyone i've seen in a while.

I think people are sleeping on LSU because the Tigers really haven't had a signature win over a top ten team since 2011.

LSU has lol'ed them to sleep.

If the Tigers can get at least Jordan Jefferson-type production from the QB position this season, they can compete for a ticket to Atlanta - and no, Mississippi, I'm not talking about the Peach Bowl.

LSU is underrated on this message board but the AP voters have them a lot higher than you would expect. They have overall talent on par with anyone in the nation, but very poor coaching and team chemistry. They just can't seem to put it all together the last 3 years.

Very poor may be a bit much but lack of discipline and chemistry is a result of mediocre coaching.

Our Defense should be solid and will keep us in most games, and if we show any kind of pulse on Offense, we could end up surprising quite a few teams. We've been overlooked this off-season (and every off-season since Meyer was coach) but we are not that far off from challenging for the East again.

LSU's defense should keep them in every game this year. QB play may be well

I got a feeling Bama may get 3 to 4 losses this year! Lost a lot of firepower on offense and the West will be wide open.

War Eagle!
