Definitely either UT, AU, Arky or Mizzou. I expect all 4 of them to be improved, probably quite a bit. Gonna be a long time before you see another season where all 4 of those don't make a Bowl in the same year. All 4 have an excellent chance to make a Bowl this year.

After doing some research, I'm gonna go with:
These 2 have a decent chance for 8-9 wins:
1) Missouri OL stabilized, RB Josey back from 2011 injury, more experience at QB, plus they will have a lot of maturity across the board, which should be the difference in close games. LINK
2) UT Good OL, and Dooley did some fine recruiting. With decent coaching, should be much improved.
These 2 are more of a mystery, but BB has done well with lesser rated talent and Malzahn should make plenty of difference. Either of these teams capable of winning 7 games:
Tied for 3rd: Arky, AU

On defense? You guys were last in the league. I think it had a little to do with talent (or the lack thereof) as well.
so, in 2012 Tennessee had 10 of 11 starters return. In 2011 we finished top 25 in total defense, in 2012 we finished damn near dead last in the nation.
Does that sound like a talent issue, or a scheme issue?

To be a sleeper, a team has to go into the season with low expectations but exceed those expectations significantly. Given the apparent consensus on LSU right now, I'd have to say that LSU is the biggest sleeper. It seems that winning even one conference game would be exceeding expectations by leaps and bounds.

Lol - so you honestly believe we are going to break our records from last year?
No, we aren't arguing that UT will be worse on D. We are saying that the situation was so bad that you can't possibly improve enough to be considered competitive. ESPECIALLY not considering UT will ALSO be retooling the offense - no Bray, no Hunter, no Patterson, etc.

If Vandy's new QB can get it done we have quite a receiving corps. I predict we pull off stunner by beating A&M in College Station.
