The worse was on of the Matt Jone's era nike jerseys that were maroon.

I believe those were the 2001 jerseys. They almost looked maroon. At least at night it looked like that.

Yeah, I think the shade looks different on the current unis compared to Georgia because of the different shades complimenting the red between the two.

The color looks darker or brighter depending on who the opponent is in pics during play.

You'll appreciate this...

When I was a little kid, my dad and uncle, who ran a sporting goods store, (BTW, both Ole miss grads) bought me a little football uniform one Christmas. I had asked for a Razorback uniform.

They told me it was the "new look" for Arkansas. Of course, I sported it to my friends as an "Arkansas Razorback uniform". (this was "way back in the day) I was a little confused over the blue helmet with a red stripe, but they insisted that it was indeed an Arkansas uniform.

The dad of one of my friends set me straight. It was an Ole Miss uniform, straight up!. I just was too young to know better. I was a little bit disappointed but still proud of it.

I have to give 'em credit for trying.

You can look on each schools website and see that the official school colors are indeed the same.

Find some pics when the schools played back in the 60's and 70's and tell me the colors are different.

No one is arguing that a different shade is being used.

Keep up.

I'm doing my damnedest Dale, but shades, colors, tints, lighting, and so on are just so much for a dawg fan to digest

While the official colors of the Razorback Athletic Department are Cardinal and White, the official colors used in the University of Arkansas logo are cardinal, black, and cool grey. PMS numbers are as follows: 200 Red, Cool Gray 7, and Cool Gray 3.

I'm thinking the companies making the uniforms don't quite get it right sometimes, but PMS 200 is the correct color.

Go ask a GT grad to explain it to you.

Remember the big box of crayons you wished for every Christmas?

As an unbiased participant, here is my list :

1.LSU - If you can pull off Purple and Yellow, it will always look good.
2. USCe - I love the Black/Scarlet combination, and even the simple "Carolina" on the front.
3. FLA - Love the all whites, impartial on the Blue's
4. Bama - Classic.
5. UGA - Red and Black are my favorite color combination, but not a big fan of the grey pants.
6. Ole Miss - Interesting combinations and I think do them well with Red and Blue
7. Auburn - I like the Navy and Orange combination, like others better though
8. Vandy - I like the Black and Gold, love Black on football uniforms all together
9. Kentucky - Solid Blue and white combination, but nothing sticks out
10.Tenn - Cream colored orange on a football field..
11. Ark - Nice but pretty boring
12. MSU -

I'm here. Those jerseys are not the same color.

With Dale mentioning looking at the jerseys back in the 60's I can only infer that the colors are supposed to be the same and used to be the same, but Arkansas has drifted away from their actual shade of red.

Your bill for my services is in the mail.

I am very biased but I do like LSU's home uniforms and when they go all white every once in a while. big fan of bama's home uniforms as well as Florida's home uniforms.
