I've lived in LA, MS, AL, GA, KY, KS, NC, SC, NOVA/DC, and Hawaii.

Hawaii has the biggest roaches and Roach problem of them all.

I didn't defend anyone, simply pointed out that you were trying to talk about cities and towns and OP was talking about states as a whole.

Other than the original OP being incorrect it's nothing to see here I guess?

The OP could be correct or incorrect, who knows?

Alabama is definitely high on the list as far as states with a roach problem, same with Mississippi, same with Louisiana.

Simply a symptom of the region.

Hawaii always gets a pass.

I loved living in NOVA - it’s a beautiful place.

Hawaii definitely has a problem.

According to Google, here are the states who search for ways to deal with roaches the most:

Alabama

Florida

Georgia

Hawaii

Louisiana

Texas

Except he is wrong actually, he specifically said Alabama has most infestation in title.

Please find me state list if you don't mind I found one after 5 pages of searches. Typically these articles are larger city/town oriented. A guilty pleasure of mine is actually going back and doing research on these mundane topics.

Just for the record roaches are not just a warm humility tolerant species. A fair amount of large northern metro litter most lists of this subject.

...And it stands to reason if Louisiana, led
by N.O. , has more cockroaches, there is more
cockroach rape in the state.
(Photo likely taken in Louisiana)

Footnote: I lived in New Orleans in the '70's, in the Vieux Carré and I'd put those roaches up against any in the world.

No one knows exactly which state has the most infestation.

Surely you realize this.

Not sure about Alabama having the worst problem, but when I moved down to Tuscaloosa for school from Lexington, I was shocked. Granted, my first year there i lived in a crappy old house off of 2nd Ave near the Guthries, but we had a legit infestation of the giant ones that fly. Those frickers will chase you around the house.

Moved to Sumner Place after that and they weren’t really a problem at all (comparatively speaking)

The city with the worst infestation is New Orleans, Louisiana. More than 40 percent of New Orleans households reported roaches

And Louisiana is third in states with people living in mobile homes.

This happens a lot on here. Somebody in Louisiana tries to troll Alabama and with a simple search, we see Louisiana is worse than Alabama in that category. Even in the few areas Louisiana is ranked ahead of Alabama it is barely and hardly something for them to brag about.

Remember the French were happy to sell it to the U.S. It was a failed project for them and place they exiled criminals and the mentally ill.

That's an entirely different statistic, son.

My statistic is mobile homes as a % of residences, yours is just number of mobile homes.

Also, mine is based on Census data, what's yours based on?

Mine is based on 2020 research. When is yours based?

Grasping and deflecting per usual when confronted with reality.

US Census data, it says that in the graph. I copied and pasted it from a PDF file.
