Alabama-Auburn took over that spot

What? This is great if it's true. Let them taste Death Valley Saturday night. We got a score to settle. Where did u hear that?

There are a lot of candidates, but the most logical would be either LSU or Auburn.

You have to go with LSU with those choices, considering talent level and coaching, and the fact that LSU has a coaching advantage is comical to say the least.

Not stupid, annoying. For personal reasons. I've grown quite accustomed to a ritual of gorging myself on Thursday and enjoying the game on Friday before using Saturday and Sunday to recover. This screws with that.

I like this better for the road trip to arky. I can now enjoy thanksgiven dinner at home and then make the trip up there. It is better than spending thanksgiven in the little rock waffle house

No. When you can have a Saturday night home game...you can't beat that. I dont care if they play on Christmas Day. Saturday night is where it's at. Hey, that rhymed!

CBS announced it probably 2 months ago. Hopefully the LSU game is at night.

Friday game sucked because
1) 5 days rest is a disadvantage
2) hot women that tailgate are shopping
3) 1:30 sucks, barely up in time to tailgate
4) its on a fricking friday

You don't have to tell me, I'll be sitting out in front of the student section at 1:00 for a 7:00 game. And seeing as how this is only one of two games that might be worth the price of admission..

BTW, you'd better hope that we NEVER play at/around/on Christmas because of what it would mean for the bowl we're in.

Thanks for the link. Boy, Saban was whining. I don't blame him. I work Fridays after Thanksgiving so I miss most of the games. Now I get to watch us play the Pigs.

There is not a single team on the Arkansas schedule that would be shocked and amazed if they lost to the Razorbacks.

But on the flip side @LSU, @Bama, @Texas A&M, @Old Piss, and @Florida is a tall order for even the greatest teams of all time.

So while I foresee 7 to 9 wins (post bowl), that figure would be several games higher if they had, oh say, the Old Piss schedule (which they will in 2010).

And I wouldn't be so fast to put Petrino ahead of Miles simply because of what he did at Louisville. Miles' accomplishments @LSU>>>>>>>>>>Petrino's accomplishments @Louisville.

What kind of retarded arse logic is this?

Do you think the venues of Louisville and LSU are even close to comparable? Louisville was mediocre even at the C-USA level and Petrino took that team and turned them into a team that was ranked in the top 20 three of his four years, ranked in the top 10 two of them, and ranked in the top five once. He guided them to a C-USA championship and then to a conference championship in a BCS Conference. He won a BCS Bowl and was one field goal away from going to the national championship.

His accomplishments were absolutely incredible. I understand Miles won a national title, but really, Petrino>Miles if you take into account the venue at which their accomplishments were achieved.
