Alabama has some weapons but talent wise, I gotta go with LSU. I think Auburn will have somewhat of a say by the end of the season but at this point I don't know.

How am I being a homer? All I said is Demps and Rainey have the ability to take it to the house on every play? I guess it's just the "homer" in me to say that 2 guys on the Florida 4x100 meter relay team are game breakers.

Chill out, I wasn't selecting you specifically. I only replied to your post b/c it was at the bottom.

But yes, you are selecting your team and it looks like a homer selection.

LSU has a ton of unproven weapons. Let's see if they come to fruition.

I agree.. If we're saying based on "potential", I say LSU as well. Although, I think AR has to be up there with that WR core.

Doesn't do them any good when the talent is on the sidelines.

Read my latest post. I don't think it's as big of a homer pick as you think it's. I'm typically a pretty realistic and objective poster on this board.

We have a ton of talent with Gary Crowton as OC

"The Hat" will have no choice but to utilize every weapon he has this year.

FWIW, I don't think he would be welcomed back in OR.

Miles will have RS do a lot more this year on offense, only because he was openly criticized so much last year for not utilizing him. LSU could be the correct answer to this at the END of the year, but as of right now, Bama has the most "weapons" on offense. I mean come on, Heisman anyone?

LSU's greatest weapon has an NFL pedigree(well actually 3 of our players have that)

Jahkari Gore is being mentored by none other than Shepard himself, and Gore is more SEC ready than shepard was at this time last year

Bama isn't the answer here. Bama will be good but they aren't gonna be as good as everyone thinks. JJ is definetly a playmaker and mark ingram is definetly a play maker, i will include richardson because i'm pretty sure he breaks the 1k mark this year.

For all the talent i've heard LSU has i haven't seen them do anything special yet.

I honestly don't know anything about florida except they lost a lot of playmakers but i'm sure they have talent.

Auburn should have some offensive playmakers with fanin and if dyer and cam are as good as advertised they should be set. oh yea and they have that one receiver.

Arkansas has by far the deepest receiving corp of playmakers. Williams, adams, childs, wright are all legit players. we also have mallett, green, and dennis johnson. i would say we should have the lead of proven weapons.

LSU

WRs- Toliver and Randle
WR/RB- Shep
TE- D. Peterson
RB- M. Ford

Those are all guys I can see just taking it to the house.

frick all y'all hating on Jefferson as Mallett is the only QB definitely better than him in the conference.

The only thing that could hold LSU offense back is the OL. That was our main problem last year.

I also don't think Crowton is the best OC around, but he helped put together a good offense in 2007.
