I think we lose one this year FWIW. It is just too hard to run the table these days in the SEC. We played poorly and got OM's best and look what happened.
I think any one loss SEC team still makes it unless USC and someone like PSU/OSU go undefeated.

UF... Anything less than a NC is a failure for them.
Ole Miss... They cant sneak up on anyone this season so they will be getting teams best shots this season!

Probably UF.
We have a favorable schedule, 21/22 of our 2 deep on defense is back, leaders everywhere on the team including Tebow, Spikes, and the Pounceys, and good team chemistry.
I'll be disappointed if we don't make it back to the NCG but I'm realistic and I know how difficult it'll be.

I say LSU then Bama.
If LSU has a poor season, the Miles critics with have a legit gripe imo. Way too much talent to have back/back poor seasons.
Bama second because expectations will be extremely high (even though some may act like they are not). If Bama has an 8-5 type season and loses to AU, AU gains a lot of momentum back and Saban's record at Bama will be 1-2 against AU and not very impressive in general.
Not UF. 2 NC's in 3 years buys you an occasional bad season no matter how loaded you are. Sometimes injuries pile up and you get some unlucky breaks that can turn 2-3 of those close SEC games into losses from wins.

I agree with this. We have to keep our spikes on their throats

Disagree on Florida--they won 2 crystals in 3 years. They can afford an off year.
Ole Miss would have the most to lose because a bad season would make it look like last year was a fluke and it back to the same old Rebs.

Great point. I guess we are being a tad greedy. If we can't win it, someone from the SEC best step up.

4 NC winners from the SEC in a row would be awesome. 15 in a row would be better.

I wonder what the record for the most consecutive from a single conference is?

When did you get promoted to God? You have no idea what kind of team Auburn is going to put on the field this year...and you have no idea how your OL/QB situation is going to pan out...so

1. Florida for the much deserved hype.
2. Alabama to prove they aren't a fluke after last season's record and the way the Utes arse stabbed them.
3. LSU to prove they don't need long to be back where they should be in the National spotlight.
4. Auburn to prove they can rebound and be a player in Conference like the past.

If LSU has another season like last years, Miles will be the one with the most to lose! Like millions of dollars.
Not to mention but the general preception that our program was already on the skids but just hidden because of the talent Saban stockpiled, will become more widespread.

I have enough of an idea to know that Bama is gonna beat the shite out of Auburn next year.

What if Georgia has a down year? The face plant that UGA did last year coupled with another disappointing season could put Richt in some real hot water and really piss off their fan base.

True in the short term, but a new coach would come in at that point and rebuild. Louisiana still has a lot of talent and we don't have another BCS school in state, plus with Arkansas to the north and Mississippi to the east there's less out of state competition.

Faceplant? 3-5 in the SEC is a "faceplant" we fell on our arse to be sure, but it was still a "good year" by most peoples standards.
If we don't win 9 games, UGA fans are gonna be disappointed. But no one is expecting much more than that from this team.
JMHO.

I'm always nervous about the Iron Bowl, this year will be no different.
