lol the one where Trent runs over him is not a good example.
how so?

he makes the stop, and ball comes out
So a flat footed DB is able to stop a 200+ pound, Heisman hopeful RB with a full head of steam and cause a fumble. How is that not a testament to Reid's ability to hit?

20+ yard pickup
That isn't Reid's fault and has nothing to do with a player's ability to hit hard.

Reid ends upon his arse.
See my earlier comment about Richardson having a full head of steam after 20+ yards and Reid backpedaling/flat-footed and still making the stop.

I would have to go with LSU. And until proven otherwise my mind can't really process the idea of an Auburn secondary being good at anything considering the last several years.

LSU's receivers hit harder that Auburn's DBs. It's been proven.

I think Nickoe Whitley is the hardest hitting safety in the conference. No homer. He really is.

Is he the one that knocked himself out against Auburn?

Yeah. He has at least two hits like that a game. Never fails. He doesn't usually knock himself out though. His goal on every play is to knock someone out. At least that is what it looks like. I mean he probably tries a little too hard. That's why I think he's the #1 guy.

I think our hardest hitter is actually a WR. Auburn and Arkansas should know who I am talking about.

I watched the highlights on YouTube of his hits against Kentucky. He laid out an offensive lineman and then hurt Morgan Newton on the same play.

Jarvis Landry's hit on Tre Mason was legit, but c'mon...I hope you don't bring up the hit on Onterio McCalleb. Brad Wing could knock him out. Other than that, I can't remember anymore hard hits he layed (I need to check out the ones vs Arky that Memphis was talking about).

Then he gets up so fast to celebrate he kicks the guy in the head.

Just watch this. Maybe it will finally settle the ST's argument as well.

nice clip....is that the same LSU play-by-play guy that used to claim that Matt Jones was slow ? I listened to him during Matt's sophomore and junior seasons as I was living in Thibodaux at the time and the LSU announcer just couldn't figure out why the LSU defenders couldn't catch Matt because Jones was so slow...i just

Last year it was Bama no doubt. Barron and Kirkpatrick were fricking up SEC backs.
This year, ehhh I'm not sure how hard Dixon hits, and I'm not sure how much PT Collins will get, so I'll say LSU.
