What does everyone think?

I'm not saying Auburn has the hardest hitting secondary, but they should be somewhere near the top. As of now, the starting unit is Chris Davis and Robenson Therezie at CB, and Erique Florence and Demetruce McNeal at S. Therezie and Florence made some bone crushing hits last season, and they were ranked the #1 and #2 hardest hitting secondary players coming out of high school in 2011.

LSU has Craig Loston (if he starts) and Eric Reid, I know they can lay a lick. Alabama has Vinnie Sunseri, and he can lay some licks with him being a former linebacker.

Let's hear some more and/or rank your hardest hitting units...

Do you mean hardest hitting as in when we hit rock bottom?

Everyone's just gonna say their own players. We've seen this movie before.

I think LSU is #1, so...

But I also think Auburn is near the top. We have got some slobber-knockers out there.

Tharold Simon is a pretty physical corner.TM7 is as well. He has no problem laying out a TE.

It's not us, but I'd put 04 Georgia's up against anything else this decade in the SEC.

Honestly though, it's gotta be LSU.

I'd have to say LSU. They hit both the opposing team as well as their own players very hard (see Arkansas vs LSU 2010).

Demetruce McNeal at S.

His bad angles and arm tackles take away from anything the other 3 add to the mix.

Well, I'm really hoping we stick Jermaine Whitehead back there as the full time start, until the other team spreads the field. Then, put Whitehead in nickel and bring McNeal/Smith out at safety.

Is the guy with the knee injury done? The one who knocked out GMac.

I'd argue our LBs can hit pretty good, but our secondary not so much. Boykin could hit but he's gone, Smith is getting better but still too small, commings is more coverage than a big hitter, Rambo had a great hit against auburn two years ago but hasn't been the same (better INTs though).

I'll take Jarvis, Washington, Ogletree and Williams though...those guys are nasty MF
