Looking 5-10 years down the road, I'd say Bama. (As long as we have Saban we will continue to rack up top 5 recruiting classes and will compete for the title every season. As of right now, Florida and LSU have more accomplishments.

You benefitted from being the best team in 07, thus backdooring a NC off it. Florida is clearly ahead in that time frame and I would still rather be Bama or Auburn considering they have had more recent success.

Wow! You're dumb. JJ/JLee were 3-1 against Auburn.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth

LSU fans saying history started in 2000 is about as sad as Arky fans saying it started in 2007.

caliber teams. Auburn was a 1 hit wonder but clearly put a better team in the field than anyin the history of LSU. B

Bruh, you're are really dumb. The 2010 LSU team almost beat Auburn. 2011 LSU would beat auburn 2010. Sorry

It would be down to UF and LSU, I'd give a wink to LSU due to UF dropping off so much at the end of Meyer but those two are the top teams.

huh....show me a post where LSU fans say history started in 2000? I readily acknowledge that LSU was not a dominant SEC Football school prior to this century....they won several SEC championships over the years...but not close to dominant.....since this century, they have accomplished more than any other football program in the SEC.

I agree that we have been the best team since 2000, but you have to know you're gonna get shite from everyone for starting at such a random year.

It was the turning point of the LSU football program...and I don't think the turn of a century is a random number. If I were on here bragging about a 2 or 3 year period that would be one thing...but this is over a 12 year period since the turn of the century. Things have changed in the SEC. We will see what happens in the future.

It must be bothersome to know that short of a 100-0 blowout, the shame of 1/9 will not wash away..

You Bama posters say this like it's true. Did te shame of losing to ULM stay with Bama, or did Bama turn around and go undefeated ( reg season) in 08. Did the shame of getting curb stomped by a MID MAJOR in the 08 Sugarbowl stay with Bama or did they win the title in 09. Did the shame of losing a 21 point lead to your arch rival, at home , stay with Bama?

All of these are worse than what happened to LSU. LSU won the west and sec title and got beaten in the title game. Getting beat by a directional Louisiana team and a mid major are far worse than what happened to LSU.

I'll take the two losses in games that matter little over getting embarrassed by a conference foe in a game that determines the National Champion. It's not really even close.

Then you're dumb. You would rather get beat at home by northeast Louisiana over getting beat in the national title game?
You would rather get curb stomped by a mid major team , in your first BCS bowl in 8 years, than lose in the title game?
Wow.
