If you count the barrier islands, is not even remotely close.

1: Florida
2: Alabama
3: South Carolina
4: Georgia
5: MS
6: TX
7: LA

Spent a ton of time in Florida obviously but there's as much a time and place for NC/SC Atlantic beaches as there is for the FL Gulf ones.

Sc clearly 2. Even if you take out Myrtle beach it's still 2.
