2010 wasn't contingent at all on other teams losing. It was contingent on the BCS rankings.

Yeah, it's just a big part of our history because it used to be an all-military school. I enjoyed being a part of the Corps, but my little brother is soon to graduate as a "non-reg" and has had an immensely positive experience as well.

I was jealous of some of the corps-whores, though. There were some hotties that had a kink for guys in a uniform. It was frustrating as a non-uniformed non-reg.

A&M didn't have the division on the line. OK State would have gotten in if they beat OU. However, OU won and the big 12 tiebreaker had OU go since they were the highest ranked team I believe.
