I say Tennessee.

Nope. Maybe twenty years ago. They sent tickets back to Tuscaloosa also. I bought 8 of those and resold them.

Sure, in past years LSU and Tennessee did travel well. They never, ever, sent tickets back. Regardless of the smack that LSU fans talk on this board, they knew how bad they were going to suck this year, even before that shitshow in Los Angeles.

No LSU fan should come on this board yapping about how well they travel when they actually sent tickets from their allotment back to Tuscaloosa. There couldn't have been more than 5,000 in the allotment. They couldn't even sell that many.

Again...a fricking embarrassment.

edit: at the downvote. Come on, LSU fan. Don't just do a driveby downvote. Make a case for how you can actually claim to travel well when you can't even sell all of your allotment.

GTFO with that bullshite.

A&M travels extremely well.

Bama travels well but fans of any team that is doing great generally travels well.

UGA travels well.

LSU seems to travel well

Kentucky basketball could possibly be the best.

In the mid 1980s, when I was an Auburn student, I was walking by the old Beard-Eaves Coliseum. It was mid week in February and there were RVs all over the place.

Kentucky was playing at Auburn the next day.

No other team brought anyone, but parents of players or some high school friends, etc to a basketball game.

I would love for Auburn to be that good, but I don’t think I could trade 3 to 5 call weekends a year for all the big games they play.

Running a business, a medical practice, or just having a couple of jobs and family obligations must be a balancing act for Alabama fans.

I’ve noticed demand for SEC championship game tickets has been a little softer with the 4 team playoffs. Plenty of Bama fans there, but to take 2 additional trips around the holidays would be tough logistically for me every single year, but I’d love to have that as a stressor.

Nah, they still had tarps up in the end zone in the Rose Bowl last weekend.

They sposed to be SEC, and can't even travel to the Rose Bowl.

You are right about this. There are only so many that can do it logistically or financially. Right after the holidays can be tough with work as well.

Realistically the playoffs are for TV, not for fans

That’s what I liked about the “bowl season” in the old days.

If your team had a good year, you could spring for a Sugar Bowl trip.

Now it gets expensive to fly to back to back games out of the region.

I probably am the only person that prefers the old system, and that ship has sailed.

I wouldn't say that. I think more people than you realize miss the old system

With the 12 team playoff, I’m guessing the first few games would need to be on campus and just the final would be at a neutral site.

College football is campus centric to me. The bands, the alums coming home, the student body, etc.

They will travel up to one thousand nine hundred and eighty miles with no problem
