a blueblood type program but not for someplace like Arkansas.

Didn't Saban say this about someone?

Pretty sure he said this when Miles was fired.

Historically, Arkansas is a better program than LSU. Both have not been consistently successful in the last 15 years or so.

I could see Wade making a lateral move or a slight bump up short of an "elite job" if Joe Alleva and the rest of the LSU admins don't get off their asses and start making some of those facility improvements they promised Wade when they hired him.

I realize Mizzou has also sucked for the past few years, but I can't help but smile a bit about y'all turning on Anderson... you were all so fricking smug about hiring him away, and we warned you then that he wasn't Nolan 2.0.

I guarantee you every coach except Avery Johnson and Tom Crean will denounce Billy Kennedy's departure.

Are they griping about AR never winning the rebound battle and not playing "high energy" defense if the refs are calling the game tight?

There's more to it. I never thought Mike was Nolan 2.0 or even close. I've known that since Mike was roaming our sidelines under Nolan. But he did bring a sense of normalcy back to our program, after we'd struggled through 2 terrible hires, and I welcomed that. He's stabilized things and now it's time to build on that.

Not really, I think it's more of a same shite different year always ok but never really good- can't get past the first round of the tourney the years we do even make the tourney kinda thing.

Thing is, everyone still likes him as a person, iow we're probably not going to chant 'Mike you suck' if he's ever in Bud Walton or anything but we're ready for a change.

It will be Calipari.

Greaseball piece of shite will go all out on his fake virtue signalling. Something like "It gives me pause when a man who does so many things right in our profession like Mike Anderson is given his walking papers. I hope some smart program realizes this and hires Mike in the coming weeks."

Well
