Better job? What better job? Vandy's financial situation is better than most (3.5 billion dollar endowment) and our student athletes don't give their coaches ulcers by making headlines. Franklin's salary is 3.5 million and we are building a 30 million dollar indoor practice facility for him, not to mention stadium expansion is around the corner. And what is a better SEC city to live in than Nashville. Oh sure our football history is not good, but we have been to three bowls in the last seven years. And Franklin is just getting started

I agree whole heartedly, Vandy is in the position to become the Stanford of the SEC. A few more years in the postion they are in now and they will way surpass ButtChug U as the dominant program in TN.Couple that with Nashville being the nicest and most prosperous city in the SEC and it is a win-win for Vandy. If anything I think Vandy could probably go after and hook top notch assistants to really get that place rocking

Only major issue for Vandy is the fact they are so landlocked for expansion of athletic facilities. I wonder what the chances of them moving their football operations out to Brentwood or Franklin would be?

You know with kind comments like that, you could convince me to take the State side against your nemesis in Oxford.

Me either, but I don't see people asking for his head with winning seasons and Alden doing the hiring.

I'd much rather have him gone if we're going to continue to be a middling team, but I really don't count on Alden and the search committee that hired Haith to be the guys to bring in a Saban.

Either Spurrier or Saban.

In other words, I don't see any movement (voluntary or not) by anyone in the near future.

Vandy's Stadium reminds me of Duke's basketball arena. Bigger is not always better.

Pinkel if talking about getting fired.

Franklin if talking about leaving.

you can certainly tell a lot about someone by their body language.

Look at all the guys with their hands covering their balls.

On the opposite side of the spectrum Saban and Stoops will be invulnerable next season. Saban for what he has accomplished and Stoops because he has nowhere to go but up.
