No question in Tennessee. It’s Vandy all the way. World renowned academics. Largest employer in Tennessee. Great Baseball program and beat Tennessee in football 5 out of the last 7 years.

vandy 20k, vandy hospital 13.5k... hca 35k. if you don't like the numbers, take it up with the department of labor, because that's where i pulled my figures.

Vanderbilt is really nice and I agree with you that it is the flagship university.

It is also, may I add, the absolute most beautiful college in the United States.

If you have to ask, you're just making shite up - thus nullifying the point of your question.

While I love Vandy and root for them and almost went to school there... they’re not the flagship. I feel like flagship is more than success: it’s also home fan support. And honestly, Nashville might even have Vandy as it’s 3rd football team after Tenn and MidTenn. Despite Vandys recent success, it’s devoted fan base is still way smaller than Tennessee’s
