At the Auburn fans saying that the barn has been more successful in their "lifetime" when we just won a NC roughly two weeks ago. This fact alone discredits their entire point, but I bet they will still try to find a three year gap somewhere in history to argue about....

Well, lets see, from what I have seen in my life...

1. AU beats Bama more often than not.

2. AU has been a contender for the national title at the end of the year more than Bama and has had more national championship caliber seasons (1983, 1988 - 1 point loss to LSU in earthquake game kept AU from playing Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl, 1993, 2004). Bama has had 2 seasons when they might have been the best in the country.

3. Pretty sure AU has more SEC championships (would have to look it up).

4. AU has been better, more relevant, fielded more national championship caliber teams, and beaten Bama more head to head (can't really control what some dumbass voter in Iowa might think in any given year in a poll).

AU>>Bama from all I have seen. And I do not have to ask my mama and daddy how it was to be the better team in state in my life like most gumps do. And I would rather see it in my life than read about it or ask mama and daddy about it.

Now, that is about it for me in this thread. I truly believe AU>> Bama in most things and Bama will never measure up to AU as a whole or fanbase, and on the field AU has been better in my life too.

Rest of you can carry on the pissing contest while I move on...

Not to me dumbass. To me, my lifetime is the single most important time there will ever be as far as I am concerned, and it is the only one I will get. And AGAIN, AU>>Bama.

Pretty much everyone outside of Alabama sees Auburn as having an inferiority complex. In 10 years, the six-year win streak will be largely irrelevant if not entirely forgotten by 90%+ of college football fans throughout the country. They will, however, remember that Alabama has won a BCS title, and that Auburn has not won a national title in over 50 years.

Why don't Auburn fans ever cite number of appearances in the SECCG since 1992? It includes Alabama's shittiest years of the modern times....

Oh wait.. we even win that.
