Auburn has a strong case for this award, bud.

Not even close. If anything they've overachieved.

Auburn has taught me that going undefeated without a ship is better than winning a ship

What I'm gatherin is that LSU and Georgia are two very strong football program

Strong underachievers, given they have zero in-state rivals (GA Tech can't take 85% of UGA players due to academic requirements) in extremely fertile recruiting areas.

I hope it stays that way for eternity.

ETA: Both programs have more wasted talent than the Spearmint Rhino on a Saturday night.

Both UGA and L8U have lost National Championship games to BAMA in the last decade.

BTW,the new GT staff is offering almost anyone and everyone with a pulse.

Here's an article from a couple of years ago

quote:

The academic profile of a group of 21 Georgia Tech special-admit football players from recent years looked much different. They had a combined average high school GPA of 2.19, according to an "athletes historical report" provided in March in response to an open-records request.

So cute!

Another article from 2014 LINK

It has big words and stuff so it might get a little confusing for ya.

quote:

Coach Paul Johnson and his staff have earned the right to full autonomy in deciding which football players should be able to handle the academic course work (with plenty of tutoring from the football academic support staff) at Georgia Tech.

LSU has a split title, and a two L title. No one respects those.

Ironic how you say “no one respects those” when Auburn went undefeated, but yet were too pathetic to garner enough respect from the AP and the coaches to even win a share of the national title. Talk about sad.

We won two legitimate titles. In ‘03 we beat what was thought to be “the best team in the history of college football” in OU, and in ‘07, we ran circles around Ohio State. Zero investigations. Zero money was funneled through players’ fathers’ churches!

Look dipshit, let me break this down for you. You just linked an articlee from 2014, which made zero mention of this :

quote:

The academic profile of a group of 21 Georgia Tech special-admit football players from recent years looked much different. They had a combined average high school GPA of 2.19, according to an "athletes historical report" provided in March in response to an open-records request.

Which you also stated was a "from couple of years ago"

So, is it 21 out of the 85 that are "special admissions", 21 out of 25 per year, or what?

Try to find something dated 2019 before you get back to me, gimp.
