Tennessee @ Georgia- Is it really still that big of a game?

Ole Miss @ LSU- Both should be down this fall but a traditional battle.

Florida @ Mississippi State- Dan Mullen returns to Starkville with his new team

Arkansas vs Texas A&M in Jerryworld should be a ho-hum early SEC west matchup

South Carolina @ Kentucky - Has the 11AM SEC Network time slot written all over it.

Which of these gets the 2:30 CST Kickoff spot?

ETA: Auburn and Bama both have out of conference matchups respectively as does Vandy and Mizzou.

Florida/Miss State

My bet is on the return of Dan Mullen, based on the fact I think most of these are kinda meh games nationally.

likely the best actual game of the day but neither team has a massive draw unfortuantely.

I stand corrected, only 9 are in the Central Time zone, for some reason I thought Lexington was in the CST not EST.

Hopefully a night game for LSU, but it seems CBS loves having LSU at 2:30 now.

Maybe Arkansas vs. A&M.

Florida vs. Mississippi State strikes me as prime time.

Ah, you meant a 4/10 split for East and West, I gotcha. I thought you were saying 4 out of 10 were in the EST which was true back in the 80's before expansion.

Pretty amazing UF and MSU play at Starkville in Mullens first year at UF

I think they plan those schedules like 9 years in advance.

eh,not really. They seem to try to work with us with home games. 2011 was wall to wall day games, but we were #1.

The one good thing about Coach O is youre going to get many more night games and way fewer 2:30 games.

Hopefully UF/MSU so it's not a night game instead.

CBS is HQ’d in NYC and displays game times as such.

Last season 2 out of 3 of LSU's home games versus SEC opponents were day games. The away game at Florida (which would have been a home game if not for the whole hurricane debacle) was a day game. The 2016 Florida game was a day game.

This season the four home SEC games are:

Alabama
Georgia
Miss State
Ole Miss

I don't think Bama or UGA will be day games, and I don't think all 4 will be night games. So State or OM could be a day game IMO.

I'm guessing AU, UF, and UGA will be the 3:30 games for LSU for sure.
