What are you, 13? You said the talent at LSU is why Miles wins and I gave you multiple examples of why that isn't true in football. You respond with nothing but name calling. Go find a lily pad to tinkle on.

Your reading comprehension is horrible.

you can say that bobby didnt leave on his own is true enough,,,, but WHY he left is much worse, just my horrible reading comprehension opinion.

Spurrier and maybe SUMLIN (verdict still out on him but he is very likeable). Not on the list but I like Strong and O'Brian(sp) at Penn St. The last two though I think are equally as capable as Les Miles.

As much disdain as I have for Penn St (not their players). I think O'Brien is proving to be a top flight coach. What he is doing under the conditions is pretty damn impressive.

Fact is Arkansas is a destination school for coaches, LSU has been used as a stepping stone in several sports in the past decade.
Look at that statement, look at it very carefully and use your superior reading comprehension skills. What would that statement tell most anybody with 1 brain and the ability to use it?
i have horrible comprehension as you pointed out,, but it tells me when coaches come to arkansas recently,,, they either leave on a motorcycle or stay there cause NOBODY want to hire them,,, while on the other hand, the other school that you mentioned, little LSU has coaches that other schools and the NFL pursue on a regular basis,,, but that's just me,,, excuse me for having to use more commas than needed, my period key only works part time and is hard to push,, but this laptop was bought from a La store and it's probly inferior,,, have a great day, dale

Well, we can't all have coaches like LSU's that were fired for sleeping with their players.

How did this help LSU before Saban came?
And how would that explain those shitty years at Bama?
Dumb statement

Great. It's one of these threads

LSU was mediocre at best before Saban, it had fell to sub-mediocrity in the 90s due to players leaving the state for other programs.
Saban had to not only build a program who's only tradition was non-unique and obsolete, playing night games, but also had to keep the top tier instate talent at "home".

My thoughts too. But hopefully that is a long way off, and maybe by then there will be another name we like.

Patterson is a good coach, but after seeing Les at LSU, I think down in your crazy coon arse swamp you need someone who has some goofiness to him. Kliff Kingsbury should be your guy.

Eta- I'm not arguing Miles at LSU. If y'all are happy, great & good luck to you except against the Hogs. My opinion is based on the premise of Miles at Arkansas.
Y'all have a good 4th.

I wouldn't want him at this point. No offense to him, he could turn out good, but he doesn't have HC experience yet. I also would have to see how he cares about the defense. This isn't the NFL, defense still wins championships.
