You don’t know if he’ll pick right up. Even then Brees is still better. Plenty of players in the history of the NFL have been really good their rookie years and then fallen off. And Watson played less than half a season. So wait before you crown him.
As of right now Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Wilson, Ryan, Big Ben, Rivers, Stafford, Cousins, and Newton all have better QB-receiver duos because they’re all way more proven.
