Meanwhile, you fired the coach with the best win rate against Saban in the SEC.
And had the 2nd worst win rate against Smart at UGa and Orgeron at LSU.

But 3and10 is glad we didn't hire the guy who went 1-3 against Bert at Arky.

Well, Saban has already tried to hire Freeze and was blocked by the SEC.

Saban won’t be coaching forever. You can hire the fake Christian prostitute hound then since you think he’s such a great coach. Hell, you should hire Gus since you think he’s so terrific all of a sudden.

I think Alabama could do better than Freeze. But if the choice comes down to Harsin or Freeze, I'm hoping for Freeze.

Not mad at all. But you seem to be awfully concerned about the feelings of Auburn fans in regard to our new coach. Most alumni I know are pretty damn pleased with the hire. Not looking for gump approval either.

I just posted an opinion on coaching hires. Concerned Auburn fans continued the discussion, yourself included.

Harsin will beat Bama like every other Auburn coach has in my adulthood.

So you're still hoping for some bullshite to happen causing Alabama to lose.

I just hope we’ve hired one that can get back to beating UGA some.

Just need more bullshite things to happen. That's the Auburn way.

If you know anything about Auburn football, you’d know us being unranked or lowly ranked in the preseason is a good thing.

This is true. For whatever reason, AU usually killed it with little to no expectations, but often struggle to play as well when pressure/expectations were high. Not sure if that was a Gus thing or an AU thing. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

So it wasn’t Gustav’s coaching ability that gave him the best win record vs Saban, it was ‘bullshite that happened causing Alabama to lose’.

Which pretty much invalidates your opinion on the relative merits of AU coaching hires.

Thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately that seems to be an Auburn thing. We were ranked 23 in the preseason in 2004, I believe. The 2003 team was top-5 preseason.

They can't make up their mind about which story they are going to run with. Either Gus didn't have a team that literally ran all over the SEC in 2013 and had a QB set every Auburn offensive record against them in 2014 and we are fricked now that he's gone...OR Gus sucked and got lucky and no coach before or no coach after Gus will ever have success.

I thought Gus's ability to generate bullshite was his greatest strength.

It seems your Bama logic didn’t work out with this thought process as usual. Your obviously a liberal to have it blown apart in less than 4 posts.

Sam is exactly what we need. Someone to right the ship and build a solid foundation with good recruiting relationships, and then pass the torch to the next guy.

We need a decade of stability. Not saying Sam will be here for that whole decade, but I want to give him as much time as he needs

Amen. We do not need Sam to be "The Guy", though it would be great if he was, we need him to be the guy who puts the program in position to land "The Guy".
