Dale is no longer with us. He tryed to have sex with a 12 inch butcher knive. It did not turn out well for him...or the knive.

not really. I was hoping we would snag Mcgee up and give him a chance or promote from within. Also hire meant that there is still a chance to snag Greg Roman up. He may just be an OC but spent several years under harbaugh with a similar title to what Taver received to get here. Apparently it is a bigger deal than I thought.

Patterson would be my choice if you could get him then, but some people would prefer others.

Mcgee is a heckuva coach...I believe he will be successful, but I just don't think he is in a position to take over the program. I expect he will run his program very similar to Petrino, but I just wasn't ready to hand him the keys...I could be wrong
As far as internal...
Paul Petrino - Just came back in December
Paul Haynes - Hired in December
Taver Johnson - Hired in Jan.
Horton - Recruiting coordinator...couldn not afford to lose another guy on the trail
If JLS was still on staff....It would have been there from the start. just my .02
