Walk in our shoes. It isn't hard to dislike him.
I appreciate what he did FOR us but what he did TO us will always and forever overshadow that.
Been there. Done that. We played him every year too. Florida is LSU's permanent cross division rival. I assume that's what you're talking about is how he beat you when he was at Florida.

Spurrier was great for college football and changed the SEC into the power league it became. We might still be running up the middle and punting all game long had it not been for the Fun and Gun making us all adapt. Yep, he was a jerk. But, he was a fun one. Miss those soundbites and the opportunity to make fun. And, when we beat him, it was a truly great feeling. Haven't had that in a while.

cgirl would hate me speaking for her, but I am pretty sure she's talking about the way he left uofsc during the season and pretty much devoid of talent.

That may be correct. I thought about that as I was typing my post so I just left what I said and then did my best to explain why I was saying it.

I would say Saban because at the time I loved beating him so much, but we quickly found out that he will come back and destroy you for years to come in a fashion so severe that you're afraid all of your players will go into witness protection because of the shame.

I sure hope to get to test your theory this coming January.

We were able to get 2 in a row somehow and almost had three till a second half collapse happened. but since then the cumulative total score of the games have been 128 to 10..
You can poke the bear, sometimes you can poke him for a while, but when the bear wakes up, it can get ugly very quickly.

2 games. We beat them 23-17 in '14 and 43-37 in '15. We were up 24-17 at half time in '16 and ended up losing 48-43. Then lost 66-3 in '17 and 62-7 in '18.
And thanks, hope we can stay hot and make it to Omaha!

Why didn't Tennessee let Butch stay, he was going brick by brick?

It was always a pleasure to beat Tommy Tuberville.

Spurrier, Tuberville and Freeze, Brewer, Nutt.

Meyer and Saban.
On a side note it brings a smile to my face to see Tommy T mentioned so much. He knew how to get under someones skin fo show.

Steve Spurrier.
Without a doubt, but I admit I loved it when he was up against other teams and thrashed them.
For me I would say Urban Meyer.
