You gonna give us a year there or just throw out teams you don't like?

This is like you starting a thread and giving these teams as choices.

AU 2008 by a lot.

29 players signed. Originally ranked top 15, later revised to #20.

And 20 is still way too high.

Of the 29 players only the following did much of anything:

Onterrio McCalebb 4*
Chris Todd 3*
Eric Smith 3*
Darvin Adams 3*
T'Sharvan Bell 4*

4/5 star busts:
DeRon Furr 4*
Raven Gray 5*
Cameron Henderson 4*
Jermaine Johnson 5*

The 4 highest rated guys in the class, including two 6.1 5*, did not play a single down or ever set foot on the field at AU.

Also, was Tubbs last class and the one ended his tenure at AU.

Sorry guys I meant UT 07 and AU 08. I feel like UT had some earlier classes that were busts as well...Also do you think coaching changes played a big role in why these were considered busts?

2009 Tennessee by a mile. They got a bunch of five stars and almost all of them either transferred or got kicked off the team within one or two years.

UGA's "dream team" has been a mixed bag.

Crow, Sanford Seay, Chris Sanders, Nick Marshall all kicked off the team. Cootie Harrow (who gave us the term"cootieship") flunked out.

Kent Turene never qualified.

Christian LeMay is behind a walk-on on the depth chart.

Zach DeBell has been a big disappointment.

On the other side, Malcolm Mitchell has been great, Jay Rome has been a good TE thus far, Xzavier Ward and Watts Dantzler are both on the 2 deep and have seen PT, Ray Drew has finally seen the field and looks good at DE, Hererra is a boss, Swann is turning into a great corner, David Andrews will be a 3 year starter at Center, John Jenkins was a starter both years at NG.

Some big misses but some great players, too.

I dunno. 2008 AU had two 6.1 five stars and two 5.9 four stars that never played a down.

Hard to beat a class whose 4 highest rated players never set foot on the field.

And in that entire class their may only end up being 1 player that gets drafted (OMAC).

wishnitwas1998, I laughed pretty hard when I saw your comment! Not to throw more fire on that wound, but I went and looked at the roster for the 2011 Tennesse Volunteers, here were the players that were no longer on the roster after only 2 years that were of any significance, meaning were ranked in the top 250, the rankings are according to rivals.com:
Jared Askew - 6.0 4 star, number 79 overall
Bryce Brown - 6.1 5 star, number 1 overall
James Green - 5.9 4 star, number 123 overall
Janzen Jackson - 6.1 5 star, number 17 overall
Darren Myles - 5.9 4 star, number 133 overall
David Oku - 5.9 4 star, number 97 overall
Nu'Keese Richardson - 6.0 4 star, number 68 overall
When I went and looked, Tennessee signed 7 guys that were ranked in the top250, according to Rivals.com rankings. That means, that in 2 years, not a single player that they signed was still on the team!! WOW! I know that teams have turnover and some kids don't work out, but you would be hard-pressed to find another school that could boast something that bad! Please someone print those shirts!!

Is he projected to be drafted? I know you said "may" but I didn't know he had much of a chance at all.

I dunno. Maybe he will go late, maybe not. Lot probably depends on the combines.

2007 Tennessee was worse than 2009.
