I believe every single person that posts on the SECRant should go over to the Tiger Rant and take a look at a few of the threads/comments.
There's a reason I rarely venture over there.
Just yesterday, there was a thread started by a guy only a couple of years younger than me who was talking about how much more awesome it felt in 1995 when DiNardo rebooted the magic (we finished 7-4-1 that year) compared to this boring arse 10-3 season. The OP talked about how he didn't like Miles and had nothing positive at all to say about him.
I responded by pointing out that the "magical" days DiNardo was aspiring to return us to (the 1980s) weren't as great as people like to think they were. LSU had a horrible bowl record prior to 1989. Miles is unquestionably winning more bowl games and more games period than any other coach in LSU history who stayed for 3 years or more.
But, hey, let's go back to bringing back the magic because that was more fun! What we really need is a 6 year losing skid to pump some new passion into our program.

Most SEC team fanbases know where they currently stand in relation to next season. The three listed above however are sky high on hopium.
You're right, if we are talking about CFB fanbases nationwide, you've nailed the top three that are going to be doing the most sobbing in their frickin' cornflakes this coming season.

Posting about CU, OSU and ND gives you no e-cred.
Only SEC teams are relevant...Did't you get the fricking memo newb?
WTF would you know douche bag a-she-she All Chump Conference member.
Do you seriously just hang-out around here to be among the big boys conference? Why torture yourself? Does the ACC not have any conference oriented boards anywhere worth a crap? I guess not huh.

Thread title "CFB" indicates all fan bases not just SEC. If it said SEC I would still have to comment on Clemsons dilusional mindset. Keep the unwarranted ridicule at your shitty tiget town tavern.

I say us. We think we can compete with the big dogs but then I remember the bama, UGA and Texas games and how out matched we were. I need to lower my expectations I think.

Arkansas will be the most disappointed, by a country mile.
Best case scenario, they would be extremely fortunate to play in the Independence Bowl.

The OM fan base is certainly making a strong case.
That said, I haven't really seen any of our fans make any drastic claims...

So going to a bowl game after only winning 4 games is a disappointment? You sure are ignorant.

How much do you think MJ pays that white guy to follow him around and hold his books up for him while he reads them ? 35 grand a year ?

Run along, little pig. After National Signing Day, you Arky fans will be patting each other on the backs, proud that you guys out-recruited Arkansas State and Louisiana Monroe.
After Spring practice, the delusion will only grow stronger. By the end of August and after a few more Bielema fap sessions, you piggies will believe anything. Arky will beat A&M, and win in their Super Bowl against LSU. First SEC title ever. 14-0. Just like last year...and the year before...and the year before....
