Which athletes/coaches has your school honored?

UF has statues of its 3 heisman winners and a ring of honor for top football players and coaches which include those 3 and 3 others with a new addition coming this fall.
Wilber Marshall - Star linebacker and two-time consensus All-American
Emmitt Smith - Record-setting All-American running back
Steve Spurrier - Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback and national championship-winning head coach
Tim Tebow - Two-time national champion and Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback
Danny Wuerffel - Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback who led UF to its first national title
Jack Youngblood - All-American defensive end and Pro Football Hall of Famer
Urban Meyer - Two-time national championship-winning head coach (induction ceremony set for November 7, 2026)
We need to do more for basketball and baseball, but Walter Clayton was our first ever consensus all american player in basketball.

Skip Bertman - statue, baseball field named after him, number retired
Billy cannon - statue, only number retired in football program
Pete Maravich - arena named after him, statue outside arena, number retired
Shaq - statue outside arena, number retired
Seimone Augustus - statue outside bball arena, number retired
Bob Petite - statue outside arena, number retired

**Wally Pontiff's #31 in baseball has never been worn since he died shortly before the start of his senior school year at LSU in 2002 from a heart abnormality. His number was actually retired by the now defunct New Orleans AAA baseball team. He was from Metarie which is where the stadium was located

I totally forgot about our football feild being named after Spurrier and Basketball court being named after Donovan.
