The OP specifically mentioned the SEC. UGA has won the SEC Championship 2 times in the last 15 years.
The SEC title really doesn't mean much. The national title is the prize for college football.
Do Bama fans care that they lost the SEC title in 2017 or 2011? Of course not... they won the national title. Winning the SEC title just makes it easier to get into the championship picture. If you make it without winning the SEC title then the SEC title means very little.
Going forward, the only thing the SECCG matters for is getting a first round bye. That will help with winning the playoff, but if a team wins the playoff without getting that bye, nobody will care that they didn't win or even didn't play for a SEC title.
Bama fans bragging about SEC championships reminds me of UGA fans in 2017 doing the same thing. The reality is UGA is in the position Bama was in 2017 and Bama is now in the position UGA was. Talking about SEC titles because national titles have eluded them in recent years.

And Georgia didn't win that either.

True.
We did win the prior two seasons and were closer to the #1 spot in the two polls that give out national titles than Bama was.

In no particular order, I would put LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee ahead of Alabama, Georgia, and Texas in a prove it list.

No, you weren't. You had 0 chance at being #1 because you didn't make the playoffs.

Must be a new georgia fan.
Alabama has won 8 of the last 9 meetings. I know reading is hard but no body said anything about national championships.
You started being a georgia fan around the time everyone was yelling '3 PEAT!!!!'.
LMFAO

There is no "momentum genie" sitting around trying to figure out which side he wants to give an advantage to.
No shite. It isn't predetermined before a game. Moments in a game decide where the momentum goes.
quote:
The concept of momentum is generally bullshite for starters. While you can do things like not allowing substitutions and such, the notion that your team is somehow magically better because of this "momentum" is just bullshite.
It really isn't if you have played or watched sports. Positive energy is real, just as negative energy is, and it can spread amongst a team in a big moment.
Big moments happen in a game can impact the psyche of a player/team, and it can quickly shift a person/teams psyche from deflation to elation, and vice versa. This naturally plays a role in performance.
One of the most obvious moments for a momentum shift is a TO during a punt/return:
- Getting a 2nd chance after being stopped is very uplifting for one vs the opposite is very deflating for the other.
Cumulative big moments can multiply these energies, and we haven't even mentioned HOME FIELD ADV. I doubt you will admit it, but these kinds of plays make a huge difference in the intensity and attitude of a home field crowd, which the home team often feeds off of, especially at JH (You should know this).

Are you drunk? He said 1 in 6. You think he said 0, and now you, yourself, claims 3.

The sad part about this is that you actually believe this.
Bama is toast and it’s going to be hilarious, if it isn’t too sad to laugh at.
I wish you retards would just admit that you’re terrified of the result DeBust puts on the field. You’ll be asking yourselves, on a daily basis, why did Norvell and Lanning turn down the job? I know why, because without Bear Bryant or Saban, Bama is nothing.

Yes we were.
3rd and 4th (UGA's placing in the final polls) is closer to 1st than 5th is.
Because of... math.

They were down last year. They were down the year before.
For some reason, last year the universe decided to give you several gifts in the form of Koy Moore, Auburn’s defense on a Hail Mary, Jordan Travis, and a really controversial call in the SECCG.
Bama was not Bama and hasn’t been since 2017, their last championship. Saban couldn’t even make a good team around Milroe. And you think DeBust can. I got a bridge for sale. You want in?
