Unlike Bama, their QB can run, and they have balance. I would not be surprised if A&M scored 28+ points.

Our O should be good for 28-35 pts though.

I have Arkansas winning by 3, I'm not real sure A&M puts 28 or more on us, our D is a lot better than Okie Lite. I see this game as a 24-21 type of game. We have some confidence issues with our offense, but I'm sure of our defense this week. A&M has a good team, this will be one hell of a game.

After watching Troy, I knew Saban's drag route would murder us.

I just hope our D doesn't make Tannehill look like Cam Newton. I expect our offense to put up some points.

I agree with this. I don't see 30 scored by either side. 28-27 type of game

You may be right, but we had 3 FREAK turnovers in the 2nd half last game and 1 in the first half which were not caused by the OSU D. Definitely killed our D by keeping them on the field nonstop against a very fast no huddle. I wouldn't count on more than 1-2 turnovers this game but you never know I guess. Our offense is not my main concern, I am worried that our young CB's will get torched by your receivers and that our DL won't get any pressure on your QB.

You know, all message-boarding aside, I see this as a pretty friendly rivalry.

Both fanbases seem to show a lot of respect to the others, a few drunken college kids aside.

There isn't a whole lot of real hate there, just familiarity and some respect.

Its ok to refer to the SWC. Its retro baby.

Here's a t-shirt a company in Little Rock sells:

SWC nostalgia

I want to see Tony Hurd get some PT. I love him as a CB even if he is 5'7".

Don't sign a short corner if he doesn't have a realistic chance to play. This kid is an All-American we flipped from Notre Dame in his 3rd year on campus.

frick, you'll get pressure.

But, you'll also open up passing routes by blitzing as much as you do, there's going to be open receivers to hit if Wilson can get the ball out fast enough. And the blitz will open up running lanes (which, I'm not to sure our RB's can take advantage).

This is why I didn't play the points in this game, we're evenly matched. I plan on being really drunk.

Yeah blitz and Wilson will kill you on the underneath routes. Your D-backs don't have nearly the closing speed of Bama's.

Our WR corps is as fast as any and Bama's defenders just flat out punked them. I really hope they do, but I can't see Bama losing again.

Screw that. I still haven't forgiven Arkie for the only loss of my 4 years in school at Kyle in '89. We stopped them on 4th down and the worst PI call in college football history. Oh, and it just so happened the official was a former Arkansas football player. Loved the old SWC.

I'm bringin' the hate!

You are definitely correct. With a defense like ours, there is typically a weakness in the coverage. The premise is that your QB cannot make the right read in time, forcing a bad throw. If we get no pass rush though, holy hell it will be bad.

Pretty excited though about this game.

Bull shite. Arkansas people were not allowed to referee Arkansas games, only those from Texas.

We are just better than you.
