Deion on Florida would be wild

Florida opening will be too soon for the Deon window, unless they hire and fire another coach within the next 4 years.
Best bet: Oklahoma, if Venables falls on his face. It's not more than a 50% chance, but that's the most likely for the timing to work.

SEC HC positions are a revolving door these days more often than not. Thanks to Saban and now Kirbs
Mullen didn't last long at UF, nor did boom or shark fricker. Why would Billy be any different?
Deon would be stupid to pass on the opportunity and remain at UCb.

His kid and Travis Hunter can't transfer. He won't leave them there.

Doesn't his son only have one year before he's draft eligible?

Arkansas. Our AD gave him 2 interviews.

Seemed like a strange place for Deion to take a job from the jump.
That tells me that he wasn't really sure it would work. Can you think of a P5 school where there would have been any less pressure?

Dion doesn’t strike me as the kind of person that has trouble fitting in anywhere.

Anyone want to take a chance on him in two years from now will be Alabama. Book it!

He will coach his son into the pro's, then either flame out or become a pro coach before he flames out. His health is not great - look into the issues he had with a leg that required removal of a sizable portion of the muscle below the knee. He's being driven now by the passion to coach his son.
He won't stay in college long enough to come to the SEC, and I understand bridges with FSU have been burned as well.

If he is a success at Colorado then he will end up in either the NFL like you said or the SEC. I can see him wanting to coach his son on the NFL if the opportunity presents itself.

GT should have hired him. Now, I bet he stays at Colorado for 3 more years.

Hey Rant, first time poster, lurking for a year. Not an alt, no one will believe it, but said it anyways.
My first thought was big time college, but wondering if Deion may be going to NFL after Colorado.

Only place he can go with a realistic chance of competing.

Wouldn’t mind him at Arkansas when Pitt retires

Back home to Florida.
Would've been a Gator with his best friend CB Richard Fain if UF hadn't gone on probation in 80s.
If not UF....Texas.

He's not young anymore, and the serious health issues will cut his career short.
