You always hear people refer to LSU fans as corndogs and I don't know why. I can't think of any logical explanation. If you're going to insult us at least use something logical. 'lswho' is kinda lame as well

Some Auburn fan saw that people called Nebraska's fans corndogs and decided to refer to LSU fans as corndogs.

Think it started with Georgia fans in 03 and then Auburn stole it. Georgia also stole it from Iowa fans making fun of Nebraska. Either way it's easily the stupidest insult ever. I laugh at any dumbass who calls me that

I heard that it came from a Tulane grad that made a little trip to his local, Louisiana carnival. Upon arrival he noticed that a number of Carnival operators were LSU grads. He combined that with the fact that carnivals smell like fresh corn dogs and made the association between LSU and their beloved corn dogs.

A few years back, an Auburn fan who goes by the Rivals username "DeepBlue" posted this controversial dissertation about LSU fans. It has become legend ever since, and it received much play last year during the lead up to Tennessee's remarkable comeback against the Tigers in Death Valley.

This. It's like a terrible joke that only they laugh at. They think just because they say it more and more it will somehow become funny.

Like a Tulane grad would visit a carnival.

from an unoriginal auburn fan that stole it from the Big12 teams that called Nebraska fans corndogs because they're the Cornhuskers.....which actually makes sense
