We will have to see how OU does at the top in the CFP, but there is no doubt they have the worst team in the P5's

Kansas | 0 – 9 in conference | 0 – 12 for season

Ouch.

would be better to wait till after bowl season

You say that because Arkansas beat the crap out of Texas. (Congrats again, btw. That will never get old for me.) One of the 2 SECW bowl winners. Remember after last season when everyone here that wasn't an Arky or A&M fan said bowls were nothing but exhibition games?

I agree with your statement, but if the SECW does much better this year I strongly suspect we're going to see a lot of reversals here on the importance of bowl games.

I never know how much merit to give bowl games anyway. Lots of questions to be raised about player motivation for exhibition games. People do seem to change to narrative year by year on whether they matter or not.

Personally, I think they do matter, just not as much as regular season OOC games. I think the performance last year shows that the SEC wasn't all that great last year as well.

I think the run of SEC dominance over CFB can pretty much be narrowed to 2007-2013. And it was a great run. But it's been over since 2014. There's enough talent that these programs recruit to get back to the level it was at, though.

oh so ole miss's loss to memphis is ok because they were banged up and memphis was playing well, but arkansas's loss to toledo when we were banged up and they turned out to be a pretty damn good team isn't?

Texas A&M 8-4 (4-4)

vs. Arizona State W (38-17)
vs. Ball State W (56-23)
vs. Nevada W (44-27)
vs. Western Carolina W (41-17)

I need to see more posts talking about this.

Hopefully it looks better then. Lots of unexpected OOC losses in that list not to mention OT wins...
