I was pissed but then I remembered we're returning almost every starter. Slept soundly.

I don't post enough now that I'm working again. I really haven't posted much in the last month.

Where are the pictures of crying LSU fans?

Recall what happened the last time the Tide shut out LSU? Tigers won the NC the following season. History often repeats itself.

You guys are in perfect position is Metz pans out.

Nice of you to say. Tough road schedule next year though. Gonna be tough. Classy post though :)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think you guys will ace it next year and exorcise a lot of demons.

Best of luck.

You haven't seen the rain and bad weather all over New Orleans.

Sure haven't. I've had him up since November, and I plan to keep him up until next football season starts.

He became sort of a rallying cry for me, and last night made it all worthwhile.

I saw Jordan Jefferson make this face about 4 times in the game:

Go to deadspin and look. It's hilarious. Someone from TD found the guy in NOLA and got a pic with him. I'm on my phone or I would throw in the link.

Really, everyone was probably overwhelmed with the Les I have no fricking clue look on his face, coupled with the players looking at the coaches with the "do you have a fricking clue" looks along with the mirrored "we don't have a fricking clue" look. Yeah, that's the ticket. Welcome back to reality people. I told you I wasn't sold on the 'Les the genius' before the game several times and sure enough he goes back to idiot mode. And also, I questioned JJ, his thug 'I'm the victim' mentality and the way he was exited the game against Bama in 09 with the "ankle injury" and sat with his back to the D like he was their 'Blair Bitch Project', plus also pointed out the option would not work. None of this surprised me.

I feel bad for the guy that made the sign. I would have loved to have seen him mad after the game and breaking that sign.

I started crying early in the 3rd quarter when JJ came back onto the field and I felt we might have had a shot with JL. I stopped crying early in the 4th when it was pretty much over.

Although we did pass midfield...a glimmer of hope...ha

Then I came to the my senses and realized that neither JJ nor JL would make a difference.
