Why would the SEC want Clemson? It does absolutely nothing in terms of expanding territory, TV viewers or really anything or am I missing something here?

Other than UGA (and USCe, who we play anyway), we have no rivals there.
Clemson has more money than it can spend.
Already shown we can win it from the ACC.
Founding member that didn't run away when our feelings got hurt.

We usually suck at MBB, but at least there's great competition.
The ACC is like a country club. The SEC is like a flea market.
