When will Arkansas realize they can't out-Bama Bama and if they want a hope of beating us they need to fire Bert and adopt HUNH?

Bama is the one moving to the HUNH.

Auburn went from going to the NCG in 2013 to 4-4 in conference last year (if not for a Treadwell injury in the Ole Miss game, 3-5), but we're the ones that need to realize our luck has dried up?

Too damn long to still claim his defense is "young."

Never, its not true. Yall need to accept that $5 million dollars is the going rate in Texas for a head coach. Mack made that much to run that program into the ground, and Charlie makes that to keep it in the ground. We pay market rates.

What makes market forces in Texas so special that you must pay more for less?

We've got oil money and big egos. That's what sets the market.

Yeah, that happened because we had "lightning in a bottle". It definitely isn't some easily explainable key position downgrades. The Saban era is on the decline. Get used to it.

LeSU has paid Les 2.4 million more from 2012-now for the same # of wins.

I say it in every thread like this and still no one gets it.

It makes sense though, this site is based on a LSU site. If you ever lurk TD after a game like Notre Dame there are MANY LeSU fans who question their coach's salary. They are so stuck in their poor Louisiana perspective that they couldn't imagine that Les at a major Texas program would be making $7+ million a year for the same resume.

We all aren't bankrupt, but some people can't see past their nose.

Saban could have zero national championships without the injury to Colt McCoy in 2009, the mulligan against LSU in 2011, and Oregon choking in 2012

Saban could have zero championships at Bama if he stayed at the Dolphins.

What market forces keeps the cost of living in New York or San Francisco so high?

Do I really need to give an economics lesson?

It's a damn shame the poorest among us try to drag us down to their level instead of trying to build themselves up.
