UT will win an SEC Title in football before the Hogs do.
No. For the foreseeable future the SECT belongs to the West. Arkansas will win one before Tenner wins another.

Sooner than Fighting arkie-farkie football will.
I think that is something other than arkie-farkie nation will agree on.

I think they'll be pretty good in a couple of years. My opinion of Dooley has grown after this year. Yeah, there were some bone-headed games he called (UAB, for one), but he handled the LSU and UNC games with class.
Still despise you Vols, though.

Arkansas is feeling it because for the 2nd time in their 19 year SEC tenure they were better than Tennessee.

You do realize that you finished 9th in SEC recruiting right?
And? That did not stop us from winning 10 games this year.
What is your point?
You argued for 8 hours the other day about how Arkansas did not have any talent, yet did not want to get into recruiting. Now, you try to throw that up.
You pussify every thread you post in.
Accept that Tenner sucks right now and move on, or go paint a rock and burn some couches.

I'm not sold that Dooley is the right guy to lead Tennessee back to prominence.

This isn't a flame, but I didn't realize AR was that bad in SEC play for so long. Hopefully for Hog fans they can put together more years like this one in the near future.

The 90's, outside of one division title in 1995 and Nutt's first season with Ford's players in 1998 were horrible. One of the worst in the history or our program. 3 bad hires contributed to that downfall.
Nutt was never good in conference play at Arkansas either. He won the West one time with a solid conference record. That was 2006 when we went 7-1. When he won it in 2002, our record was a mediocre 5-3. Alabama being on probation gave us the in there.
Petrino going 6-2 this year was more impressive than any other coaching job we have had here since we joined the SEC IMO. The West was down right brutal this year.
I expect the trend to continue because we have a very capable coach now.
As for Tenner flamers, it almost looks like a mirror image of what we went through in the 90's. 3 bad coaching hires. I am not sold on Dooley.

Do UT and Arky play next season?

We will have the best QB and the best WR in the league next year. and they're both gonna be sophomores.
You will have neither of these. Aaron Murray will be better than Tyler Bray, and you have nobody anywhere close to Alshon Jeffrey.

a couple of decent years and now arky fans think they can talk. have a few more good years then start talking smack or better yet win a meaningful post season game

Hawgalude: I don't know. I would consider a second place SEC [West] [regular season] finish and a BCS [bowl loss] pretty relevant. Since this is about Tennessee again, how does 5 wins next season feel or will feel?
He may not be yall's best poster on here, but you have to admit he says what is on all of your minds.
UTenn is a legit program and will come back.

Tennessee is getting better and getting better quickly. It wont be long before they are back.
saying you have the best QB and WR in the SEC though is just ridiculous.

LMAO of course bringing up recruiting and its undeniable impact is "pussified." I wonder why? Maybe because Arkansas cannot compete in it. Sure anyone can have a good season every now and then, but you will not do it consistently if you cant win any recruiting battles against good programs. You signed 30 players. Only 4 of them were 4-star prospects. That is kentucky caliber recruiting. You will not compete consistently in this league like that. And if you cant compete in recruiting after a BCS bowl game, you never will.

The answer is they have always been more relevant than arkansas.
Just like last year?
Tennessee has seen their better days. Hog futures have never been higher.

Im gonna settle this shite right now.. Arkansas is relevent every 4-5 years. UT is in a major rebuilding phase and honestly, with Dooley at the helm, I don't see UT relevent.

We had 10 years of Nutt. What did you expect, SEC Championships and BCS Bowls?

Nutt is one of the most successful coaches in your history.
