Saban knows if Tua doesn't play this week, it helps the narrative with the committee that had Tua been healthy, Bama beats LSU.
I don’t think that narrative exists. Tua played great. Alabama was outscored. Tua couldn’t have done anything about that. LSU on defense figured out how to take away the bread and butter quick slants that Alabama has used so effectively against other teams, forcing Alabama to get its points on big plays over the top. Tua pulled it off a couple of times, but LSU answered every time.
Alabama did not lose the game because of Tua’s ankle.

There were some drops that probably gets his yardage close to 500. Which would have been pretty embarrassing for LSU.

He's a great CEO no doubt but when it's on him only, he seems to fall apart -- though I will give him credit for that onside kick against Clemson. I have to admit that was brilliant.

shredded that LSU defense on one ankle.
Do tell me more.
If that was shredding then I'm highly curious what you think Joe did...

Interesting that Saban said post game that he was 100%
But then caught himself about 2 sentences later and started backtracking bc he realized what he said wasn't going to fit the narrative.

people need to understand that it doens't matter if tua was 100% or didn't even play against lsu...none of that matters if the other P5 champions do what they're supposed to.
