How pathetic is this? Techs coaches trying to act cool- wearing the swag and throwing gang signs!
Collins wants to make Tech “cool” and “fun”. Looks like he is off to a great start! I’m sure having fun laughing at them. It’s so sad. If they weren’t GT I think I could almost feel sorry for them.

Perhaps you should. Georgia owns the state and Atlanta is mostly populated by UGA fans. Not to mention that a large proportion of the UGA student body is made up of kids from the N Atlanta private schools.
GT can’t even get fans to attend games. When Georgia has to travel to that rusty old dump we outnumber them in their own stadium.
The late Lewis Grizzard once wrote about GTs total obsession with UGA. They think about UGA each and every day of their lives. UGA thinks about GT the
Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I’m going to peel back the curtain on my posting. I’m usually doing multiple things at once and not giving it my full attention. I’m often on my phone. If I make a grammar, spelling, or any kind of other mistake I don’t care.

Now back to your regularly schedule posting. Poor little WT following me around like a lost puppy dog. Have your attention. Pat pat.

GT is better known as the North Avenue Trade school. Although some call them the joke by Coke.

Atlanta TX High School?

I guess everyone is looking forward to the big East Texas showdown October 16th when the Atlanta Rabbits take on the Art Briles coached Mt Vernon High School Tigers in Mt Vernon?

Texas High School football is the best.

yet somehow we still finished with the #2 ranked class, crazy.

By your silly logic I guess alabama doesn't own the state of AL either, considering UGA nabbed the top 2 players in teh state last year. See how silly that sounds?

The point is that we have managed to all but eliminate our in state rival, a heritage CFB program from any real ability to compete on a year to year basis. For all of Bama's bravado and hubris, you havent accomplished that.

With the vicious hit in ‘61 and Frank Rose voting to keep the SEC scholarship rules, Bama did more than anyone to get GT to leave the SEC which is what really killed their program.

Yes and they never will be.

UGA and GT are so close that GT can’t carve out its own territory. Atlanta is a city of transplants and even if someone valued city pride over everything else, they’ll just follow the Falcons first and foremost.

GT only plays two regional opponents every year- UGA and Clemson. UGA gets to play Auburn, UT, Florida, South Carolina, and GT. People care more about regional games. Even if Pitt is really good, it’s hard to get excited about playing a team that you don’t know a single fan of.

There’s just very little reason to be a fan of GT over UGA.

Yeah. Tech snagged some guy ranked #40 who UGA probably never heard of and the celebration hasn’t stopped over at GT. I think they are planning a parade.
