IMO saban at LSU would have been MUCH MUCH scarier than at bama. He probably wins 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, (good chance cam comes to LSU so maybe 2010) 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Not a troll reply, honest question.

What makes you think Bama was a better school that LSU at the time for saban to make a dynasty at? Bama was irrelevant for the past 10 years. LSU has one of the best recruiting grounds in the nation, bama has no consistent talent in state. I feel he was better at LSU as far as recruiting goes. Facilities are indenticle at both schools. LSU had ZERO competition recruiting wise at the time. I just don't see how bama is the better fit for a dynasty level coach. LSU, USC, Georgia, Florida/st, and Texas. Recruiting wise, are the best places to be a dynasty level coach in my opinion.

He will likely try to win 2-3 more nattys before he retires. He is obviously trying to be remembered as the greatest. Can't blame him we only live once. Alabama fans should be grateful.

Honest answer. Bama tradition, a hunger for winning, and the ability to swallow our pride and allow Saban to have full control of the football program. Bama boosters had been humbled. LSU boosters would never do that. They were not humbled. The culture of Alabama where Saban could get the kind of support he always desired such as filling the stadium for his first spring game. That was the first thing Bama did that made Saban realize he didn't want to leave. It was the perfect storm for a dynasty.

How about we get some sources, here's a link on blue chip prospects % by state

LINK

Here's another one on NFL players by state, Alabama is a little closer here. But still behind.

You mean the title Miles won after Saban left Miami and took over at Bama?

2025 will be his last season, barring some health condition, etc., that precipitates an earlier departure.

Real talk though, think of how many national championships LSU would have had with saban as coach. He wins one with Russel, Flynn, perrilou, jefferson/lee Mett. And those are just the QBs miles was able to get. Imagine if they were COACHED LOL. Louisiana is a absolutely STACKED every year. Saban is a monster recruiter, he gets all of LAs top 10 every year plus anyone he wants from the country if he was at LSU.

IMO saban at LSU would have been MUCH MUCH scarier than at bama. He probably wins 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, (good chance cam comes to LSU so maybe 2010) 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

This isn't bitching btw. Just throwing out thoughts. I have mad respect for Saban and what he has done to bama. And good luck when we play in Nov.

You gotta give the LSU fans props because they are dreamers. More ifs and buts than any fanbase ever. They have some kind of love hate with Bama

It's like LSU fans have 2 teams in the west
Them and Bama. They live and dream vicariously through Bama.

It's quite pathetic when they are two tiers down from Bama and haven't been relevant at all in many years.

You can't snoff Bamas nuttz so please give Saban some room to breath. You beat Malzahn in a rebuilding year and a Miami team that will not make a bowl game. Bravo

In all honesty. Saban wins the title this year and gets compared to 95 Nebraska team as the best ever.

EA sports will do a computer simulation where Bama wins 67-3 and Tua completes 23-23 passing with 345 yards.

Saban then calls it quits. The governor renames the state Sabama and Nikki rides off into the sunset.

Only to return to the Detroit Lions for 2 years where he fails miserably. He then quits the Lions.

Only to take over at Ole Miss. A school with little to no tradition. He finally gets them to the SEC title game only to get blasted by the Florida Gators. He stays at Ole Miss a few years never reaching a title game again but becomes a fixture in the annual Poulan Weefeater Bowl then retires for good.

Everyone then can see it was Alabama that brought Saban up and not other way around.

He actually struggled some @ LSU as compared to Bama. And was never going back there since he was never really satisfied at LSU as witnessed by his complaining. So Bama owes LSU's inherent dissatisfaction with their coach/station in life.

Not exactly. We won the division 2 of the 8 years prior to his arrival.

Let's not forget the juggernauts the genius created at Mich St. They were average at best. LSU and Bama,',s history benefited Saban more than Saban did from their history and geography
