According to the last census, Oklahoma was ranked #1 in terms of women weighing over 2 bills. It's a very progressive state in terms of obesity.

Unlike hillbilly Missouri women all our women have their teeth.

I looked this up once, and it actually has to do with the fact that those roads were tolls before the interstate system existed. When they created it, they overlayed some highways on the existing toll roads & allowed them to continue to be tolls. Below is an AI explanation that goes into a bit more detail.
- - -
When the Interstate Highway System was created in 1956 under President Eisenhower’s Federal-Aid Highway Act, the idea was to build a network of free, high-speed highways across the U.S. But many toll roads already existed — especially in the Northeast, Midwest, and parts of the South.
Rather than tearing up or bypassing these roads, the government decided:
Already-existing toll roads could be incorporated into the new Interstate System.
This allowed states to avoid duplicating infrastructure, and the tolls were permitted to remain. These roads had often been built in the 1940s or early 1950s, before the federal program existed, and were funded by state bonds and tolls — not federal dollars.

We should all ask Stan Kroenke what he thinks of Missouri.

Eff, I don't even carry cash!! And you were SOL without it. Then, they had to have to exact change.
I ran one on the way back from Tulsa.
I am calling bullshite on most of this. Your Texas Toll Tag works in Chokelahoma and just about everywhere else. If you had blown through one, they would have had you pulled over within the next 30 minutes. At the very least, you would have a warrant out for your arrest.

You don't have the stones to raise your middle finger or any other finger at anyone.

Wow 4 pages of guys thinking about Oklahoma. Crazy

1. Not everyone in Texas is a toll tag user.
2. They don’t do shite if you blow through.
Some of their toll roads out in Indian/oil country take CHANGE and never even work to begin with.

Oklahoma is God's Country. Reddest State in the Country. Tons of music talent. Rich in Oil and Gas. NBA MVP. And everyone's a millionaire.

I didn’t know that the newest trend was for millionaires to live in shacks and trailer parks.

To be fair, they do have a lot of $80k pickups parked outside of them.

Can you even buy a new truck for 80 grand anymore? A good brodozier will be 6 figures.

I have lived here my entire life and have never seen one. How did Katrina work out for you?

I’ve stayed overnight in OK less than 25 times and almost got smashed by baseball hail once right in OKC.

I have lived here my entire life and have never seen one.
This is true for me as well. In the 30 years I lived there I never once saw one and when I was in college, me and my friends used to go storm chasing and never managed to find any. Now I have seen the effects of them shortly after they hit.

Worst two hail storms I lived through occurred a week apart when I lived in Dallas. Baseball sized, some say there were grapefruit sized ones as well, smashed through car windshields and damaged so many roofs insurance rates statewide went way up.
