Notre Dame just lost one of their best players and captains for the year -
Defensive Lineman Rylie Mills. That's a tremendous loss for an already depleted team.

That is a big loss and they back up is a freshman who also had an injury in the ND game

There will not be pressure on Gunner in this game

When UGA loses, they will still have beaten TX twice and UT once.

Corollary question:

If Texas, who lost twice in the regular season to Georgia, wins more playoff games and goes further than Georgia in a playoff run BUT doesn’t win the natty, who had the better season?

Objective opinions only.

Georgia of course. Is your answer sarcastic and you are saying that an SEC championship but, say, losing in the CFP quarterfinals is an objectively better season than losing in OT in the SECCG and then, say, losing in the national championship game (or semifinals game)?

Again, it’s a serious question. I mean, if you think it’s an obvious answer say that.

Texas just won their 1st playoff game and you’re starting a thread about UGA.

So why are you dickriding UGA when the Texas poster has a point? Bama owns UGA so stop kissing their asses. We know the dawgs fans will blame others. It’s what they do around here.

Tons of pressure on the Dawgs in this game. Maybe not on Stockton specifically but that don’t matter

How is their QB not even listed?

That is Georgia's most glaring weakness

Winning a championship and then losing in the playoffs has to be better than not winning a championship and losing in the playoffs.

So winning your conference championship and the flaming out and being upset in the playoffs early is better than losing your conference championship and going on a deep run and losing in the national championship game.

Is that a fair characterization of what you responded (and expounding off the initial hypothetical)?

The definition of winning the battle but losing the war. Sad.

If it comes down to Texas vs UGA in the final, do we need to play 3 to get to a rubber match?
