2 teams breaking in new coaches and offensive schemes. It's probably going to be an ugly game, but who cares
Most likely, I have no idea what to expect honestly. I have a feeling it will be close though because I think we'll be playing all out, with it being the first home game of the year and under Sumlin, as well as first SEC game.

it will be the farthest west of Fayetteville they have played a regular season game since playing USC in 1983. Why are the Gators scared to play West Coast teams on their turf?
Just curious how many top 25 teams there are in Arkansas that you play every year? How about teams from BCS conferences outside the SEC in Arkansas? How about teams with a pulse? Sorry we play good football in Florida. We hear it enough because we don't play FSU, Miami, South Florida and Central Florida every year. Maybe you would like to compare SOS over the last 10 or 20 years to see if we are playing a tough enough schedule?
USC came to the Swamp once. Trust me they don't want to come back.

Can you not buy them through your teams ticket office, or are they already sold out.

I will say that anyone travelling to A&M in opposing SEC garb is going to be treated like royalty this season. I doubt you'll pay for many drinks, and you'll probably enjoy all the brisket you can eat.
Its going to take at least a season and maybe two before we figure out exactly what we've gotten ourselves into and all the warm fuzzies feelings fade to hatred.

Tickets are sold out. They go very quick, within the first day of being available. Only way to get them is through second hand sites or from a scalper outside the stadium.

Only for some teams. I have no problem bringing the hate for most of the schools. However, Florida is not one of them. Can't wait for the game

Good grief, some of the twatwaffles on TA get so wet at the thought of tailgating "SEC style" that I wonder how many of them have ever ventured outside of their hometowns. I'm interested to see how long they keep slobbering all over themselves before the hatred sets in.

I don't get why an Arky fan cares right now how far west Florida has played. They have enough problems with their OWN team right now.
Anyway, I am excited for the Aggie game.

Did College Station get a influx of Katrina Refuges like Houston did?

Cause you can win 3 BCS titles and become one of the most powerful teams of the last 2 decades by scheduling 4 wins a year.
Brilliant!
Maybe you dumbasses in NWA should try it...might be more successful.

I'm guessing you haven't been there?
The metro area is Bryan/College Station. There's no physical border or gap between the two towns; they run together. There is, however, a massive socioeconomic difference.
College Station is lilly-white with the exception of a few blocks in the State Streets. It's all professors, college students, affluent families connected to the companies set up to take advantage of the increadible amount of research money that flows through A&M, and retirees. If there's an influx of anyone, it's empty-nesters and retirees moving to the ranchette and golf-course communities.
Bryan is majority minority.
I don't know if any refugees went to Bryan, but they didn't end up in College Station; there's really no home for them there. When I was a student at A&M I lived in a house with one other guy and we never even locked our door. I wouldn't say there's no crime, there's crime everywhere, but College Station is as low-crime as it gets. The police department there is way, way, over-funded and over-staffed and the people are extremely vanilla.

I love how this subject always seems to come up on these boards. Like us Gator fans really have anything to do with who our team plays and where.
Give me a breark would ya?

Yes, Bryan got their fair share of Katrina refugees.
Cross over into CS and its middle-upper class yuppies, college students and retirees living on nice golf courses or as Cooter put it, ranchette style communities.
The wife and I are moving back to CS next year, and are targeting 7-10 acres. We are moving our newborn out of the school districts here in HOUMEX Metro and moving into the new high school in south CS.
