True, but you got to admit...that was a pretty good one.

UAT loses by 4 touchdowns if Party Boy Dareus hadn't taken him out.

The winningest college QB of all time(at that point) was out, and was replaced by a double spare QB that threw 4 picks and currently trying to restart his career at SMU... And you're telling me that Nick Saban was only up 3 with 6 minutes left to play against that? Talk about dynasty... Lololololol.

I have harbored this suspicion, that we made his arse quit. I don't know the guy, but others have said he started thinking about his NFL prospects after his Dareus encounter.

Seriously, you left the Big 12 so that you could stop being UT's bitch.

No time like the present.

I'd been hearing for over a year from Texas fans how Colt was so much better than Tebow and how Bama had "nothing" for him in Pasedena. Dareus instantly become one of my all time favorite players with that hit.

If you watch the tape, it wasn't all that unusual of a hit. Sure, he changed directions pretty quickly, but I've seen the likes of Tebow (and even McCarron) take hits that look much worse than that, and seem to bounce right back.

As far as Alabama letting UTx back in it--that was poor game management on Saban's part. He clearly, clearly took his foot off the gas starting in the 2nd half, thinking a Frosh QB wasn't going to be able to make plays--but he did.

I think our Aggie friend wants to take that one off the board, too.

I'm not sure it was bad management, as much as Bama players feeling the game was in the bag. I still remember them laughing and acting like it was over when they were walking in the tunnel at the end of the 2nd quarter. 24-6 was a pretty large lead with that defense. Reminded me of the blackout game against Ga. Up a ton, a feeling of it's in the bag, going through the motions and worthless points scored.

4 picks isn't making plays. Bama was a really shitty team, they just happened to play a signal caller that wasn't necessarily shittier, but just about as inexperienced and unprepared as you can be.

Now you are just trolling, and I look forward to a weekly Aggie skull fricking this fall. I do believe I'll actually root for AU for at least one weekend.

Hope you didn't burn those Big 12 bridges.

So you're saying I've single handedly make you want to root for Auburn? That is so unbelievabley delicious.

In one game, yes. Unless somehow it affects our divisional position or something. But yes, in most of the SEC/Big 12 matches these so-called high flying offenses and (ostensibly) uber-QBs have looked bad against SEC defenses. We finally, finally, get to see what a Big 12 team looks like running through an SEC gauntlet.

If you really believe that, then you know absolutely nothing about football. I fricking hate Bama because the fan base as a whole is so arrogant and so far out there that one of their own decided to destroy a time held Auburn tradition by poisoning 100 year old oak trees, so upset was he over Auburn making a run at the national championship. And it's not like he is really so far away from the rest of the fan base, not with the number of Bama fans getting his autograph and taking pictures with him, not to mention the UAT grad who decided to rub his genitals on a rival fan's face WHILE BEING RECORDED ON VIDEO.

But even through all of that, I know full well that Alabama had a hell of a football team in 09. I can only hope that you don't actually believe what you're writing, rather doing anything you can to diminish UAT's undefeated season.

While Big 12 teams have been QB dominant, it is still a team game, and I wouldn't exactly say they've looked bad. Sam Bradford didn't look like we was light years behind Tebow when Tebow threw two picks that game, some say he looked better. We won't know how Colt McCoy would have done throughout the game against the Tide.

And I wouldn't think that A&M, or Mizzou for that matter, this year shows what a Big 12 team would look like through the gauntlet of an SEC schedule. I think that in much the same way we can say that SEC linemen are better than Big Ten linemen, even if a Big Ten team has a better statistical rush D, is that Big 12 QBs have been drafted at a level that is even more impressive than SEC linemen. The whole teams aren't as good, especially given the poor offensive lines in the Big 12 to protect the QB when they play the SEC, so yeah. You aren't really going to get to reach that conclusion.
