Is the best team of all time?

For me, it was upon reflection of their season bookend demolitions of top 10 teams. Opened with Oregon and finished with TCU and detonated a hydrogen bomb on both to a symphonic tune of 114-10. Everything in between was just formalities on the road to coronation. The UGA team that went all Patton’s 3rd Army on two highly regarded teams is unbeatable by any college team past or present.

Just wondered if this is what made you realize that they are the best or if it was something else. Please share your story about when you first came to this realization. I am sure Tennessee and LSU fans can point to our games against them but really more interested in the stories of fans of other teams.

No one will ever compare their season against '22 uga as the greatest ever...just like no one compares their season to '20 Bama.

Everyone compares themselves to '19 LSU because everyone knows...even Bama and uga fans

LSU trailed by 10 points once.

In the NC game then proceeded to go on a 38-3 run!

Greatest collection of offensive talent?
Sure

Greatest team ever?
That title now belongs to Stetson ‘The Mailman’ Bennett’s ‘22 Bulldogs.

You're really going to hang your hat on beatdowns of Oregon and TCU? Really? Wow.

2019 LSU had the best season of all time. 2020 Bama is the best team of all time. 2022 Georgia is nowhere on this list.

Best dynasty of all time?

Better scoring margin than 2019 LSU.
And well.. 15-0 is significantly better than 13-0 with covid opt outs.
