When did the SEC start calling 5 yard penalties after reviewing the play?

I saw it Saturday during the onside kick of the Auburn - Georgia game. I thought the play was being reviewed to see if Auburn touched the ball before going 10 yards, but they ended up calling a 5 yard penalty on the Auburn player for touching the Georgia player before the ball went 10 yards. The penalty was not called during live action. Weird.
I don't ever see plays being reviewed to call a hold, offsides, or pass interference after the fact.

When teams cheat penalties are generally called.

Apparently Clemson’s matchups against unranked opponents are so boring Clemson fans are watching sec games.

That seemed weird to me as well, I didn't think you could call something that wasn't the subject of the review

I think certain penalties are reviewable all across College Football.

Illegal touching on an onside kick is reviewable if I'm not mistaken.

An onside kick is a unique play with specific rules associated with it. The ball must travel 10 yards before it can be touched by the kicking team and the kicking team cannot block/make contact with the receiving team until the ball travels 10 yards. A Georgia player was clearly blocked before the ball traveled 10 yards.

That exact same thing happened during the Oklahoma/Kansas State game.

When they needed to keep their chance of 2 SEC teams getting into the playoffs alive. Just like when they started overturning calls on the field in which the receiver not only got 1 but 2 feet down on a clear catch. Lsu fans know about that one

No it didn't, in that game the OU player touched the ball

The part where you were talking about ACC teams on an ACC board.
That part.

It was the correct call... Also had zero impact on the game.
The overturned catch was questionable, thought the play would stand. But it was very close.
