LOL really? You don't think we would have been a better program if we were the state school? You do realize that we are in a state where about 70% of the population supports the state school of UAT. We split recruits with them, money, fans, support and we are STILL on par with your school. Meanwhile you battle the likes of Tulane, La. Monroe, La. Tech, and don't even have a freaking rival.

Well, first of all, there's no way to know.

Secondly, in the early days of the conference, LSU split the state with Tulane. And before you crack yourself up, Tulane had 3 SEC titles before Auburn won their first. Tulane has also played in the Rose Bowl and had the largest home stadium in the conference.

Thirdly, you say LSU has no rivals. Maybe not NOW. But at first it was Tulane. Then it was Ole Miss (and before you lulz, Ole Miss had the best win% in the COUNTRY for the period 1950-1970). But do you notice a trend with LSU's rivals?

Trust me, NO ONE wants to be LSU's rival, it doesn't end well for them.

I ahve found some irregularities in the past with their numbers.

The biggest thing I've noticed is that they only go as far back as 1902 - for some SEC schools at least.

I mean, it's like any time someone brings the SECW up, it's always "LSU/Bama/Arky", and people act like they're the only three capable of winning the West. Not to mention, if you talk to most of the LSU fans on here (who think football started in 2007), we've never fielded a competent football team that wasn't led by Cam Newton. How quickly people forget the early 2000's when the LSU/AU game effectively decided who was going to Atlanta.

i love your post. people have short memories AND many posters really have not lived that long so their definition of "history" is what's happened since they became aware of the subject matter. on the other hand, people in my age bracket know damn well how good the auburn plainsmen were and the present (fill in mascot name here) teams are. of course, my age group can't remember all the details. i'll never forget sullivan/beasly and esp. i'll never forget bo. since many on here were not even born then i guess they just don't have the perspective.

Some of their numbers for both the IB and the UGa series are just flat out wrong for both teams...like soem games are ommitted.

LOL really? Will it end in a 17-15 series lead? Ouch that's dominating.

Face it, you get to cherry pick recruits from your home state, you have an entire state's support, you have no rival, it is actually amazing that your program hasn't been historically better than it has.

Look at it like this, give AU the built in advantages LSU has and see where we would be. I mean we are basically even now.

Historically you could agrue that Au is ahead of LSU but currently I'd rate LSU way ahead of Au.

No you couldn't, Historically we have more SEC Champs, more wins, and more NC. Not sure where you got that idea.

No shite! LSu has been an exceptional program for about a dozen years so there must be a ton of upper teens and lower 20s here who only know or remember those years.

I never looked but the totals wins and losses were different.

They may have fixed the site but I quit going to it a few years ago when I started to notice the trend.

You're obviously not good at reading comprehension either. Read it again it may get through a second time.

bullshite. every LSU fan knows that football started in 2003

LSU fans know that football was birthed from Saban's vagina. His vaginal conceptions, however, didn't become immaculate until he became the head coach at Alabama.

There is 1 AU/UGA game that I know of to be indispute. They both claim the victory. Let me check.

I understood you fine. Basically you are saying it's ok to call names as long as it is an insult directed to an AU fan.
