Their boosters run the show.
Just like everywhere else. Where do you think the money to build the outrageous facilities and enormous stadium renovations comes from? Who do you think is ponying up these insane coaches contracts?
Just because the media says that Auburn's boosters are toxic doesn't make it true. If anything, Auburn has more "alignment" than any other school in the country. Everyone at Auburn knows who is signing the paycheck every month.

Tuberville got 9 years. Gus got 8.
You don't even have to lie to make it seem right. Both got plenty of time.

Gus was a good person and had a great Offensive mind, but he was unable to make adjustments and could not develop a QB on his own. He was too stubborn, and it prevented him from staying at Auburn until he was ready to retire. We see the same issues at UCF and the competition is not like the SEC.

It’s not just Gus, either. It’s everyone and they’re the problem!
Must be why Gus can't beat Navy to save his life at UCF, huh?

That's a full 4 decades, Broseph.
Derrrp. Yeah, and the current coach covers 2 of those decades. Point is, Bama fans were throwing bricks thru windows long before it was fashionable.
Perkins 4 (unenviable position to follow legend)
Curry 3 (loses 89 Iron Bowl, gets bricks thru windows)
Stallings 7 (finally busted for something, led to some fun years)
Dubose 4
Fran 2
Price 0
Shula 4
Saban

We immediately fired the coach who was paying sex industry workers with university funds. Auburn is actively trying to hire someone that was also fired for doing the same thing. So much for the "Auburn Creed"

Since 1981 and not counting interim coaches for either school Alabama has had 9 head coaches and Auburn has had 6.
You think Auburn has a stronger history of football coach disfunction than Bama? Lets recap.
Yall ran Curry off flinging bricks through his window after a 10-1 regular season just because he lost to Auburn again. Poor soul had to get his family out of Tuscaloosa before some future Finebaum calling, tree poisoner, took a pot shot at them.
Then there was the disastrous Dubose and Shula hires.
Franchione quit and went to Texas A&M. Dang that left a mark.
And lets not forget Mike "can you put a hooker on a credit card" Price who got fired before making it to his first game.

Who cares? He was still head coach.
Everyone acts like morals matter, yet you ignored blatant cheating for decades because it led to wins.
