He was a three yard and a cloud of dust RB, but that is what Gus wanted in his Offense. Now that Morris is in charge of the Offense, look for them to find a more of a HR threat at RB. Whitlow had issues his entire time at Auburn off the field, the fact that he stayed two years has more to do with Gus than his abilities. Look for him to transfer to a Smaller Division school.

I'm curious as to how much Morris has actually seen from the new oline & RB stable to know whether or not to push Whitlow out?

I'm shocked let his player(s) get away with off-the-field shite and still gave them PT. He's always seemed like a disciplined coach that wouldn't put up with that crap.

a big step??? Auburn lost 3 of their 4 games by a possession. Also Bo hasn't thrown a pick since October 26, 2019 (longest streak in the SEC)

Bo is fine, our offensive line needs work moving forward drastically but Bo will naturally get better with experience.

Gus doesn't put up with legal issue and crap like that. Gus is far from consistent though. We have a young running back fumble, and he won't see the field again all season.

Boobie can fumble it multiple times a game, and doesn't even get taken off the field for a quarter.

Morris did get to see all of bowl practice, so i'm sure that helped some.

I mean, what makes you think otherwise? Nix played like a true freshman at times, playing behind a pretty inconsistent and at times just bad OL. We have a lot of issues on offensive scheme and OL play. Nix has plenty of room to grow, but the foundation is there for him.

I typically ask a question to gather information not to state a redundancy. Different intelligence levels create issues I understand.

Not sure it was off-the-field shite that was worthy of kicking him off the team previously. I think he was sat a couple of times based on attitude and not any actions. I think Morris has seen enough film of Auburn the last two years while at Ark to know what was needed with that Offense. They had some off-season requirements from Whitlow and he did not meet them.

Was Whitlow's attitude any worse than Seth Williams? I'm sure Gus has his reasons for leaving Whitlow in when he was fumbling, just like the kept Bo in when he was struggling and refused to give Gatewood PT.

There's crazy shite coaches have to deal with that probably none of us will ever know about.

Apparently. There were reports during summer workouts and practice of players confronting him about his effort, loafing on plays, etc.

Williams went to class and did his workouts. He was just frustrated that he wasn't getting targeted enough. You noticed that changed toward the end of the year.

I am not a fan of Malzahn as a coach, but he is a pretty strict disciplinarian, and you DO go to class, and DON'T miss workouts or practice without his approval...Boobie shite his bed with this

This is exactly what I've always thought of him, He won't put up with any crap from his players. That's why it's a little surprising to hear that his #1RB for the last 2 yrs wasn't pulling his weight and skirted team rules while his HC still gave him unlimited PT even when he coughed up the ball on the field and loafed off the field.

It's not a position where this hurts y'all, and it won't be noticed as long as someone gets some top talent on that oline and they show marked improvement this yr.

So we had a total of 780 yards of offense all season? LSU must have blown us out
